I'd say something like "kidding aside," but I was actually being serious. A hookshot with a laser sight just seems so incredibly awesome to me. More so than it should. Like, makes-the-game-completely-worth-it awesome.

Plus, it makes more sense. The Hookshot is a piece of technology!

Let me explain before you go into fan rage.
OoT may be one of the better entries in the series, but it's also one I have played down to death. Not to mention, when they make a remake, (yes this is a remake and not a port, look the therms up if it confuses you.) they waste a great opportunity of making a new game. Even if it is a less enjoyable game, I'd enjoy it more then playing a game I have already beaten. Even more so, if they are making a remake they could have gone as far and make it a re imagination with newer concepts. (Zero mission vs Metroid would be an example of that.) With new bigger dungeons with new puzzles while still going for the same theme and general layout of the world. (Face it, the overworld in OoT was rather plain.)
I was hoping the extra content they added into this game would be something that would win me over, but to be honest, what they have shown so far have not really been that impressive. From what I can tell the MQ version is not the same as the one for OoT, although, it's hard to tell from the video when you're not super experienced with MQ. Which is a shame if it's not, since it had new puzzles for every dungeon. (Though the cow in the walls part was just: D: )
I'll see if they add any other new content that is good enough to swing me over, but from the looks of it so far, it's not something that is worth the cash for me.

Jeez Evan, calm down. A small dot would be hard to see on a3DS screen versus a TV screen, where you can see it big.

Nononono, I was being completely serious. A laser-guided hookshot is awesome! I know it sounded like sarcasm, but it wasn't.

As for the laser-guided hookshot... okay, it's a nice addition. It's not really that significant.

The only reason I really b**** about OoT is because there's so many people who claim it's like the cure to cancer. Thing is though, even though OoT revolutionized so much that it might as well have cured cancer, it's like saying that's enough and that AIDS doesn't need to be cured (AIDS representing the overworld, difficulty level, etc.) One thing that might make me happy is if day and night are both longer. Each don't need to be 30 seconds long (even if that's all the time it takes to traverse the overworld anyway

It seems they changed the Stone of Agony into, "The Shard of Agony". They probably couldn't make the 3DS rumble so they made something different. I mean, when you play OoT on an emulator or on the virtual console, it's pretty much useless.

I have never heard of that, or the Stone of Agony... did I miss a vital part of OoT or something?
