I made that room to look like a poor game design and fool the player that there is more than just a key and I also did that to prevent you from getting permanently stuck and have to restart the game all over again.

Just so you know after a long break (I've been travelling a lot), I'm back playing and beat Level 7 tonight, plus I got the mirror shield. I'm back on my way. Level 7 was tough but I did it with the only the blue tunic and a wooden shield (my better one was eaten and I didn't feel like re-buying) which was dumb and of course unnecessary.

The tunic I most recently acquired is purplish in color. Is that the same as the red or did I skip right past red and go from L2 tunic to L4?

The tunic you got was from the tower is the level 3 tunic you get it before you can get the mirror shield. The last tunic upgrade is in level 9 and it is not easy task to get.

Yeah, that's the one he was talking about. By default, the color is red. Sometimes the fish man forgets we changed the colors a bit. ^_^;
The REAL red tunic is the one that you get in lvl 9. It's originally the gold tunic/ring in most other quests.

The whistle is level 4 dungeon item vravelo
ganon360 yeah I cannot change the game so you can block manhandla's shots with your shield that is defaulted into the actual game itself. I would have to script a manhandla from scratch in order to do that and I am still a beginner at scripting. Most of those puzzles and trick were to troll boltfox20 while he tested played through the game. For the dark wasteland stun locking and reflecting those stalfos 3 attacks back at them with the fire boomerang is the way to go. I personally trick those dumb leavers getting them to repeatedly slam into a non-walkable combo as I kill them.
Level 8 can be really intensive, and if you do not have the fire boomerang I would recommend to go get it on the eight floor of the tower.
yeah but i just wanted to say aside from the manhandlas you guys have created a truly wonderful game and i hope to see more like it in the future

We have the second part of this game in construction but it has been a slow process because of real life stuff happening. The candle with the combination of your swords will help defeat those manhandlas much faster.

Nope still on final triforce dungeon XD

I just wanted to say Level 8 was a brilliant and diabolically designed dungeon. Well done. I beat it without help but it wasn't easy. Some of those wand puzzles were top notch.

The puzzles are 100% Flying Fish's ideas. And I agree, those things were a lot of fun to work out. ^_^

Yeah Bolt but you love to nerf my Ideals for puzzles, because they can get really hard and very difficult to solve (Hint hint: level 2 silver gauntlet room). I do tend to go out of control with my puzzles sometimes....cough cough level 4, Because sometimes I just let my randomness take over and build the area for me.

True, but I never prevent you from doing your ideas, just make sure they are beatable, and at the correct difficulty for the given dungeon. ^_^
