It's not working. Tried moving up/down after every 3 shots and every two shots. Still get timed out.

I just looked it up in ZQuest. You are right, up/down walking can't work THERE. Because if you stand north of the right mirror, you are in the column where you pushed the mirror. I didn't put flags there, since moving the mirror through them would have erased them anyway (at least I think so). So, after shooting, move 1-2 tiles left and there start going up and down. That's why I said up and down, because only the bottom half works of the warp tiles, so if you happen to stand on the upper half, going left/right does nothing.

I'm sure it will work now.

I gave him one shot, then moved as you said, and it worked perfectly. Thanks for researching Zquest! Surprised nobody else has had this problem since this sort of movement after shooting is unintuitive...

Thanks Barefootguy for the offer of the video and you CastChaos for all the help. Somehow my brain started working and I FINALLY found it. It was actually so easy I'm embarrassed about how much info you gave me to help me find it.
I got all the keys and the item but can't seem to find my way to the boss key in the lower left part of floor 2.

schoochie662:
Actually, some people had problem with it first, but then they surely started to walk around in frustration, so they accidentally got it... At some other part of the quest, I'm already aware of this and force the player for moving.

Crackers:
Ah, finally you are there. Boss key... F1 big room, go to the east of it. Use sword or some other item on the switch to go down to the door-stairs. From there go right, down (not like you had other choices) and you get into a special challenge. You need to press that direction which you see (left or right). The more times you succeed, the less you need to fight for the boss key. After about 6 success, you get the boss key without fight. If you pass all screens of the special challenge, you even get HCP for a reward (and then the boss key of course). This minichallenge can be replayed anytime.

Now struggling with Myra's Dream. Have the boss key and have defeated the dragon on the Knil side. Defeated the dragon on the Link side but couldn't figure out how to beat the other beast that was there. No ideas what else to do in this area.

You got boss key and beat KNIL side Gleeok, so you have everything. (That "other beast" is invulnerable to all your current weapons.) Now go north from entrance, go left all the way, up, right through the gaps (don't fall) you eventually get to some switch that removes a blockade. Now go right from the first intersection (with 2 fairies). On the way, you need to push a mirror in place, so that you can reflect magic onto it. Then later with few walkability and many bubbles, kill all bubbles to open the path. You will eventually reach a smaller boss and then the reward is close! Don't forget to check the unopenable big chest just east of the reward, northeast from the aquamentus (north of chu chus/gels).

I beat the IW1 and looked for the video you had that shows how you get back. When I got the medal I was told to go back to hyrule. Will the caves take me back?
I just saw that I'm suppose to stomp on a tile to get the bloody dagger somewhere in IW1. Is this right? Then I need to find a way out of there to get back to hyrule.

To find the secret in IW 1 go to the southeast corner of the big room in f1. Pound a different looking tile with the hammer. To get out of the caves and make it to the IW restart your game and continue back up at the top of Mt. Dead End. Enter the caverns from the top and keep going southwest until you eventually see the orbs blocking your way. They will fall and you will be able to get to the next part of the game.

Crackers:
Following the steps in the video is also part of trying to get back to Hyrule. But you won't get back, since the Inverted World is in fact Hyrule, 7 years after you left it. So, just follow the same that you saw in the video. That tile stomping that you saw in an other video takes you to the subdungeon, it's not a must to have, just a secret. You won't get "bloody dagger", but you already got what you can: the medal that has a bloody dagger picture on it. This is what you needed.

Stray Sheep:
Ah, I see you really collected everything! And this indeed shows that you found the best and the secret ending. To see the secret DX ending, you need to restart the game since it's in LW. But don't start to walk around the LW overworlds trying to find the secret DX ending, rather go to Tortourian, where you got boots, go to its southeast part, kill all enemies, go north, get HC/P and look with the lens that where's an additional secret in that room. It will bring up a crystal ball that shows a scene that reveals how to get secret DX ending. If you want to see the bad ending, next time when you play, don't get golden tunic (but you still can get Lightforce and Sword of Power).

Thanks, but the way isn't open--it's blocked by an immovable rock

Exactly where? There are many obstacles and I told you how to remove most of them... Plus the last obstacle disappears if you really kill KNIL side Gleeok. After the gel bubbles, there are two sword/item bubble rooms, in one of them you need to slash the switch, in other you need to pound the pounding object.

I'm pretty sure I've done everything that you've said. The immovable rock is two screens to the left of the fairies. One other thing I noticed is that in the room with the unbeatable monster the lens shows a warp that apparently can't be activated.

Sorry about that. When I couldn't push it and the lens showed nothing, I gave up too soon.

I'm in need of some help..
I'm in the Steamy Systems right now. I've found 2 keys and the compass, I used one key to unlock the door that leads to the firey basement part. I found one behind a wall of spikes, and the other was just sitting on the ground. (If I remember right.) Where do I go from there?
