Do you have the hurricane spin?
You are close to the legendary tunic following the Gannon path.

Gannon is a push over in this quest if you have the right tools to deal with him, and besides he is just an bonus boss and not required to beat the game.

I wasn't talking about Ganon... I was talking about Xanafer.

Seriously, One good hurricane spin wipes him out. And, if not, he's not so tough without it, either. The robes in the room with him are the tough part. ^_^;

Sorry about earlier didn't mean to complain about the manhandlas I guess I was just bugged by their toughness and how my shield doesn't seem to stop the later versions fire balls but I must say this game, while infuriating at times, is truly a work of wonder and genius, it's puzzles rank up there with some of the toughest challenges in standard Zelda games, like the invisible floors in the shadow temple of OoT , (your guys invisible wall master room), to having the spinning door puzzles in oracle of ages/seasons ( your level four ocarina rooms) your game is truly a combination of puzzle/adventure genre that deserves the title of Zelda. Well back to the grindstone for me, I finally snuck past the (my title for them) darth Leevers and am in the final triforce dungeon wish me luck XD

The whistle is level 4 dungeon item vravelo

ganon360 yeah I cannot change the game so you can block manhandla's shots with your shield that is defaulted into the actual game itself. I would have to script a manhandla from scratch in order to do that and I am still a beginner at scripting.  Most of those puzzles and trick were to troll boltfox20 while he tested played through the game.  For the dark wasteland stun locking and reflecting those stalfos 3 attacks back at them with the fire boomerang is the way to go. I personally trick those dumb leavers getting them to repeatedly slam into a non-walkable combo as I kill them.

Level 8 can be really intensive, and if you do not have the fire boomerang I would recommend to go get it on the eight floor of the tower.

Hint as to how to upgrade the wand?  I'm pretty stuck in Level 7.  I have the map, compass, the first part of the wand, and a key but nowhere to use it.  The entire basement map is explored.

Which upgrade you are you going for the second or the last?

The second is hidden in a room where you had to use a key for a key on the second floor with 3 pits in it.

Note: pits in the upper levels of level7 will drop you down a level and those pits have a little discoloration to them also.

The third is hidden in the southern part of the iced over lake through a cave.

The 2nd.  I wondered about the room where I used a key to do nothing but get a key.  So I assume it's a matter of dropping down the correct pit?

Edit:  Found the 2nd wand upgrade.  Thanks!
