Well, I deleted my 100% Hero Mode file and tried again so it can be a zero-death file. Can you tell I can't get enough of this game?

I just had an upsetting realization. Even though it's not a game spoiler, I'll add it as a spoilers tab anyways.

Man, this is weird, did this game get unpopular so fast. This topic just literally... Died.. Lol It seems to me this game gave fans everything but anything to talk about. I believe this is a warning sign of future "ALBW is overrated" complaints swarming the Internet. I must admit I loved this game (and still do), but am I the only one that is feeling it now to be rather insignificant now? Either way, I still feel true with this game being one of my favorites in the series.

People on the internet are some of the most fickle beings on this planet.  They can go from loving something one minute, then chastising someone else for liking the same thing another minute.  Better to just like what you like, and not care what other people say about it.

Nope. I've started my fifth play through just to tackle the dungeons differently.

I really need to replay this game again, but I have to give myself time recover form intense game time with it. I have planned for the next run I'll be doing a 3 heart run on normal mode and then I might try on hero mode and that'll be a no hit run as well since I'll be going for a no death run with the both xD

Hey, how come we don't have a 50 page thread about Super Mario World?  Boy, must be a terrible game for none of us to be talking about it.

 

We spent our time playing and talking about it aplenty.  I stopped talking about it because my life shifted focus on other things.  You don't have to talk about something to love it.  I hardly talk about Baccano, but it's my favorite anime series.

 

And I'm still playing the game (although again, had to focus on stuff like Christmas shopping, Animal Crossing, job, friends).  Still enjoying it a lot, though.  Only beaten 3 Lorule Dungeons on my Hero Mode run, and it's still really good.

I'm playing on Hero Mode and deliberately doing the dungeons in a very different order. I guess I got really lucky the first time in completing the Thieves' Hideout and Desert Palace first, because this time around it's driving me nuts not having the titan's mitt to move all those boulders for the mai mais. Mother mai mai? NO YOU MAI NOT!

One thing I love about this game is how you meet and get to know each of the sages in your travels before they are captured. There wasn't really a lot of space to spend a whole lot of time with them, but I think it was executed very well. I also love the foreshadowing with things like Gulley going missing, Irene's broom coming alone to transport you, and the Zora at lake Hylia complaining that he lost sight of the queen because she must have just swam too fast.

Hero mode was fun. But quite the surprise. When the first enemy took off two hearts, I was like "Whoa! Game on, than!"

The game's Japanese name, Triforce of the Gods 2, makes even more sense, considering there are now two Triforces of the gods. Well played, Japan, well played...

Yeah, Skyward Sword's Prologue (and perhaps several other sources) stated that the Triforce was without equal. Guess Hylian's lives were a lie.

 

Also am I the only one who wouldn't mind seeing enhanced music of old games for Zelda U mixed with new ones like they did with ALBW? Sure, ALBW used its prequel's OST but I thought it'd be neat, personally.

That's because Link to the Past for SNES in Japanese, was called "Zeruda no Densetsu: Kami no Triforce" aka "Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods."

Here's some interesting info regarding that; Nintendo is always distancing themselves from any religious references for overseas releases.

Another example regarding Link to the Past would be the Sanctuary being called a Church in the Japanese release.  Agahnim was also referred to as a priest in the Japanese version, but it was changed to a Wizard in western releases for similar reasons.
