Completed Pokemon X in about 26 hours. Now doing the post game stuff, I gotta say, this has been a really awesome game to play through... but, it seemed a little too easy.

Yeah, those types of pokemon have been going around. Unfortunately they're likely hacked. Meanwhile Pokemon Bank likes to block Legit Jirachis and Mews from coming through from what I hear.

Any information about what legit Mews and Jirachi aren't getting through (aside from the Japanese MSTRY Mew which I know about)? My Mew and Jirachi I obtained from the events for Heart Gold got in just fine. Honestly, this sounds like a minor mistake from what I hear.

It probably had more to due with japanese -> english conversion errors and having my mew misflagged.  However, it matters not since now I have a wi-fi event Mew.

 

Currently making a VGC style team so I can get some practice for the tournament at FanimeCon.

It seems a lot of foreign pokemon are having issues specifically from the looks of it. Like the ones gotten by going to the movies in Japan. Some people even claim that they went to the event in person to get them and now can't transfer them.

 

I'm not too familiar with the events, so I don't know about which ones exactly are the problems. I went from Platinum to Y remember. I've heard specifically the Jirachi that came with the Colosseum pre-order disc having problems though.

 

Meanwhile, *likely* Hacked pokemon are all over the place on Wonder Trade....

 

On another note: I finally ordered White 2 which should be here in a week or so. Then I'll have to play through that to the point of where I can transfer pokemon from D/P/Pl and then finally attempt to transfer. Still not too pleased with their setup. This is more tedious than it needs to be..

 

Also, I've heard if you put pokemon in the Bank, once your free trial ends you have to put them back into your game or they'll be deleted forever if you don't renew. Dunno what exactly the timeline is to renew, but I hope they give you a decent amount of time before destroying them. I don't plan on paying $5 a year to keep the app, so I'll likely transfer and use it for 30 days and then never touch it again. I wish we could just buy a permanent version than have to worry about it every year. I'd be fine with a permanent version and paying a small fee once Gen 7 comes out to use it with that gen.

Yep. considering it only works with Bank. It's gonna suck for those who miss the free trial and don't transfer their pokemon right away.

I've heard regular 3DS too. But the problem is you have to register it plus a game between March 1st and March 31st. So for those who already registered them don't get anything.

 

(Not that getting another Pokemon X/Y game would be all that interesting for me anyway. If by somehow I was eligible for one, I'd likely only get one to use for storage since Pokemon Bank sucks)

 

Anyhow, I got my Pokemon White 2 game today. The previous player (as this was used) had a Genesect so I downloaded Bank and after fighting with it for awhile, I got it transported into Pokemon Bank, then started a fresh file.

 

Pokemon Bank as far as I can tell so far is tedious and it won't connect 75% of the time. I'm going to transfer everything I need into Y and then dump it. I'm not paying for a service that gives me an error 75% of the time when trying to connect,

 

As for White 2, so far the game is honestly pretty boring. The first two gyms didn't really interest me or were all that hard. I looked up where to find Eevees so I can have more than my Dewott for battling and caught 2 of those. The Eevees both put up a massive fight, I don't know if I'll even be able to catch more with how bad they've been. The second one almost wiped my entire team while catching it. I'm amazed an Eevee in red HP could break out of 10 great balls so easily... For laughs, the second Eevee was Relaxed nature in the end too.

Yeah seen that as well, but its a shame that they won't let people who registered a console/game before this not receive the deal.

So I finally got through White 2 and got some pokemon transferred to Y. Some of these pokemon are going from Emerald to Diamond to White 2 to the Transfer Box and finally to Y, so it's a long trip. My MYSTRY Mews are coming through fine at least, despite being cloned in Emerald. Now I just got to get a hold of a few pokemon to finish my Pokedex for the Shiny charm.

 

Anyhow, I'm willing to trade a Mew if someone could help me with ANY of the last few I need for my pokedex:

Deoxys (Never was able to get a legit one even after all these years)

Landorus

Thundurus

Zekrom

Meloetta

 

These would be tradebacks just so I can get the entry. You get the keep the MYSTRY Mew in the end. I can always clone more in Emerald if needed.
