FredFlintstone:
It is. Pay closer attention to the subscreen in my latest BB videos. icon_wink.gif It's location doesn't marked or hinted anywhere though, you can find it only by accident. I never heard somebody telling that they found it, I fear I gave TheOnlyOne the title "first to max out inventory" without actually finding Amulet-2. It's at a non-revisitable area. Next time you play, slash everything.

beth-h:
Green tunic all along? Sounds very nice. To open that certain north door, first go right from the entrance then up til you are in the same line with the big chest room, just right of it. Then you can go left. Hookshot to the left on the upper part of the screen and the passage opens. icon_wink.gif

Crackers:
Keep in mind: you can banish the skelettons south from start with ocarina. In the caves to the west from start, use ocarina to open the wall. You can bomb a big bone that stands in the way. You can use an item on a pile of rocks (as I remember it's boomerang). You can boomerang minitrees at the south.

I've watched your video again and it goes from the dungeon to an area in the bottom of Dead End. Is this where I need to use the ocarina to go farther? This part is confusing. Will go and try again. Thanks for all your help.

What you saw in the video is what you need to do after beating the dungeon. So it's about reverse of what you should do now. But it involves a warp that you can't reverse from where you are. So still... caves take you south and to middle. South makes you be able to go east, then north. Middle makes you be able to go north a bit then east. Result is the same: you end up in northeast corner.

Out of curiosity, when an update for the quest comes out, can I overwrite the quest file with the updated file and just continue playing from where I last saved? Or do I have to start over?

Of course you just overwrite the file! You never done that? You should, many gamestopping, annoying and harsh bugs were eliminated in the updates, the last one is quite stable. (Altough there already were one huge and two small bugs found at AGN since last update... so once there will be another update.)

I think I may just have to quit playing. I just can't get to the dungeon. I keep going in the same places in the caves and end up in the same places on the mountain. I played the ocarina just about every screen and used the lens and am still stuck. I must say, you did a great job on this quest. I'm just an average player so have a harder time but it doesn't take away from it. A really nice job.

The cave that leads to the dungeon is in the eastern part of mt deadend. I'm almost done with the dungeon, as soon as I finish it I'll make a video for you of how to get there.

I saw one of endings, I guess it is neutral ending.
Can't I reach bad ending if I have gold tunic or beets?

Crackers:
You never need to give up, you always get enough help to eventually progress onward. I'd make a video, but barefootguy just said he would make one. I'm happy when somebody makes a video of BB, so I should let it. You also can hookshot some minitrees that are just next to a tall mountain warp to make a whirlwind that takes you up. When you get out of the caves at south, be at the second lowest row, go east, hookshot over the chasms, enter cave, go all the way north, then hookshot the minitree at the mountain wall. This is one route.
Stray Sheep:
No, you can't see bad ending while having gold tunic. But you still can go for the good and secret endings by collecting all Lightforce pieces and getting L4 sword. In fact, if you have L4 sword, you can freely decide between the neutral and best endings.

In trying to kill the Nightmare boss I keep running through two potions. I have lots of magic including 1/2 magic, and I'm shooting at his feet with the obstacle moved out of the way. Am I missing something here?

Well folks, the fact that I am still unable to find even the first level after days of play, may indicated that I am in over my head! However, I really, really want to have a go at this one, so I'm hoping someone can direct me to the first level of the game. I have obtained a red pearl (I think), and the lantern, bought the tile, empty bottle a fish, a super bomb and reg. bombs. I'm sure I've walked everywhere on the map but have no idea where that 1st level is hidden...... help please!!!!

schoochie662:
Reflected magic must hit the legs of the boss. So, pound the pounding object, push the upper mirror down, push other mirror out from the way, stand north of the right mirror, face south and shoot!

peachstar:
You even a got a superbomb before the first dungeon? You really did a nice exploring. You also need the boomerang before the first dungeon. It's still in the village. Go in the cheap shop (Bano's shop, north of thief shop where you bought tile) and walk through the right wall's bottom.
After that, this video will guide you to a place full of water...

Thanks, but it's not working. Several times I've fired 2 potions worth of magic at his feet and he's not going away.

And what are you doing between/after firing? If you are just standing there, then indeed you can shoot even a million potions worth magic... you need to move, tile warps doesn't work otherwise and the timed warp (which works even if you don't do anything) take you away. Tile warp is activated by what I told you and makes you advance further, timed warp is activated solely by time and takes you health away then makes you start that mirror part over. So, move after magic hits boss (up or down, preferably).
