When I saw the update this morning, I thought Lyn was going to be a character
I'd rather that they not add too many Fire Emblem characters in, because I suspect they'll start to become carbon copies again.
It'd be nice if they had some FE characters who use non-sword weapons, but they always put the lead characters in first, and they almost always use swords.
...Except Ephraim!! They totally need to put Ephraim in.

Why not have them both be assist trophies, and they can do some sort of powerful joint attack. Otherwise, as playable characters, they could be like the Ice Climbers, only with different attacks and a Special Move to switch between the two (think of Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin's main characters).

I'm still waiting for the rest of the characters from This to be unveiled. I'm surprised they actually got Lyn out there, albeit in any form at all.
EDIT: Actually, I'd really like to see This famous character in brawl. I mean, look at that awesome move right there! That is so totally going to be his Down+B move right there.

1) Andy
2) Ray 01 (I kinda wish it was MK 2, though)
3) Mega Man
Since Konami gave us Solid Snake, maybe they can give us Goemon.
If none of the Advance Wars characters show up as playable, I wouldn't mind if they assisted. Imagine Sturm coming out and using Meteor Strike, or Eagle using a Lightning Strike-fueled Bomber (meaning it would attack twice)!
EDIT: Deleted false info
EDIT2: Replacing false info with something true.

I don't know why anything would "lowercaseand" but from what I've seen on the update site and such, Brawl will knock the socks of of Melee.
Agreed 100%. The proof lies in the existence of the assist trophies, several new characters that have been revealed (including Meta Knight and Ike), Adventure Mode, and My Music, as well as other evidence I haven't mentioned. The game looks like it will most likely knock Melee to #2 of my favorite Fighting games list.

1. If I'm not mistaken, they're going to try to lessen the similarities between "carbon copy" characters. I would be happy if they especially focused on changing cross-series carbon copies, particularly Ganondorf/Capt. Falcon. There is no reason that a medieval fantasy villian should show THAT much similarity to a futuristic racing champion.
2. Brawl's music is going to be head-over-heels better than Melee's. The previews already show that this is so. This is a VERY good thing, because Melee's collection of remixes of classic vintage Nintendo music is good enough to be worth listening to on its own.
3. They're trying to lower the learning curve. Not only will this make it easier to pick up the game and go, it will make moderately-skilled players less likely to fall into stupid mistakes, like losing track of your character. I certainly hope that they succeed with this attempt.
Anyway, if Sonic is going to be included in Brawl at all, I think they've already coded him in. If that's the case, then we're not gonna know about it until Nintendo is good 'n' ready to reveal it. I suspect they will wait until early November for that announcement, if they do indeed make it, in order to maximum the "desire to buy" right as the game is released. After all, they have to make the announcement when everybody's listening, and early enough that word of mouth will get around to the fans.
Either way, I'm sure Nintendo still has a large number of surprise characters that they're going to unleash on us in the next month or two. It's quite enjoyable to see the list unfold bit by bit.
