I also made some screens with NoeL's Linked Seasons set. It's like, a SNES version of Koten. I like it a lot, and these are some experimental screens. The mountains in the waterfall one might not be to everyone's taste, but I think it kind of works.

And I was about to ask him if I could use it! That's awesome. ![]()

Yeah, I do think it works. Maybe you should consider using a different tree sprite? I could imagine Fire Bird trees looking decent here.
And while the palette is pretty good I think moving the dirt and rock colors closer to each other would make for smoother transitions. (I'll add an example in spoiler tags.)

Huh, yeah, that little change Sheik made makes it really pop. I like it. The gray cliff looks a little odd at first, but it is hardly impossible. Mmm, look at all those tasty pancakes.

Not from a project. Wish they were. Not really looking for critique, just showing off a lot of my custom stuff I made out of boredom that probably are never going to be seen in an actual project. *shrugs*
Too much blue. The second shot looks like it's partly underwater. Orange flowers look odd. Second screen looks cramped and unplayable.
Sorry, I wish I could vote for this but I just can't. ![]()

So much LS!
Looking good guys, keep it up (though Shiek, you've got some cset 3 ("Blue") mountain tiles in a predominantly cset 2 ("Red") mountainscape (the SW-facing corner just left of the upper central house, and the middle of the N-facing side of the central hill. Also just noticed an incorrect tile at the bottom of the stairs in the lower left of the map)).
