I beat the secret level and got the reward.  Very impressed with both the concept and execution.  Complex and interesting but never overwhelmingly so.

Im still stuck in the room in Level 8 with the collapsing bridge... just not enough time to light the torches before the bridge gives way...

 

Edit: NVM, mirror shield solves the problem... activated the switch at the end to build the bridge to the chest... not sure where to go now tho...

 

It seems I'm stuck getting to the left hand side of where you initially fall into the sewers. Got the big key, and the holy arrows. 

 

EDIT: Scratch that, forgot that there was a bombable wall in the first elevator room... got the level 3 heart ring... now looking for the fire boomerang... need it to open the last door...

The fire boomerang is not in that level. It opens a extra area in dungeon 8 and has no impact on your gameplay in level 8.

The level 1 dungeon item is the wooden boomerang and the step ladder. You get the lantern just outside the forest of illusion.

 

Get stuck in! Or get stuck! LOL

Can you remind me of where I get the red tunic again? It's not in the ganon room with 4 black wizzrobes is it?

Newb question...? how I kill the boss at level one..? got redcandle  boomer ans bombs,, and nothing seems to qork.. any idea..?? thanks

The boss required one of the level one items and you have to focus on one at a time since they can regenerate over a period of time.

around juno place there's a game place. pay 142 rps or so, get the blue boomer ,, strong enough to kill level one boss ---  surprised had to kill level 3 boss with item found in there ........¿

You can defeat the level 1 boss with the boomerang found in level 1, but it since they can restore their health you have to focus on one at a time and they do not have much health I believe it takes 3 hits to kill them.

 

Even the bosses will make you think a bit before dealing with them just using the sword isn't always the answer for dealing with those pesky bosses and even some enemies.

The lvl 1 boss is easily doable with the wooden boomerang. It can be frustrating, sure, but it requires focus. Wait for one to isolate itself and fly into a corner. Then aim for that one. Three accurate hits later, one down. Using this method, that boss is a cake walk. There is no need for the blue boomerang, which might actually make that boss more difficult, as it takes longer for the blue 'rang to return to you, costing you time, if you miss, allowing the boss to regen.

oh, thanks for all those hints about level-1 boss,, any help finding level-4 ??,, a little of leg work in here

The knight guiding you hinted that the way to level 4 was near the forest of illusions and not in the forest, I am not that mean......  

just look for something out of place around the forest entrances.

Im having trouble in level 9... Forgot where to get the legendary tunic. Got the upgraded oil lamp.

 

Found the room with Ganon in it, but he's a bit tough to beat with all those black wizzrobes flying around.
