What happened is that we interpreted it differently.  Because that's kind of a thing that happens when multiple people read the same thing.  And I couldn't really see your side to it because you weren't being specific about why he shouldn't compare them, you just told him not to.

Gotta agree here, when I seen it I asked myself how the hell you would reply like you're angered over such a small thing. The post wasn't even to you either Jared.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but even if the enemies are different, tanking is a common thing in video games, maybe it would work, maybe not, but no reason to get angry over it. You could get your point across better by explaining in detail what you mean, and without being mad. The mere fact you had to explain yourself AFTER that post shows you didn't explain yourself correctly the first time, in which you have no grounds to ask why people understood it differently and call the entire forum idiots after they made their points. We have a lot of smart and creative people here, to call PureZC in general idiots is odd.

Comparing LttP's difficulty and then assuming ALBW's difficulty isn't really all that valid; it's like comparing WW's difficultly and assuming PH will have the same difficulty. You think you aced the prequel flawlessly means you're going to flawless ace the sequel. I had a more hard time with ALBW than LttP. But if you can ace both, good for you!

And for your information fairy backups don't heal you all the way (5 hearts IIRC). It's all about not getting hit. :X

So a little interesting thing about Yuga's design and personality found in a comments section.

Apparently, the Zelda team at Nintendo wanted to make a non-gender specific villain.  Also, I did read somewhere that in Asia (not sure of the specific area) that the perfect human being is not one that is 100% feminine or 100% masculine, but rather 100% both at the same time.  That could also play into why Yuga thinks so highly of himself.

@NewJourneysFire: WTF? This is a remake. I liked the wall merging and Yuga fights in aLttP. It's a shame they just made ALBW a remake.

So I just collected most of the important stuff for Hero Mode and I consider this game fully beaten. I managed to get through Treacherous Tower in a little over 7 minutes. :) The Upgraded Wind Rod and Fire Rods make Link a vicious killer when combined with a Golden Sword that can perform the Great Spin.

It's too bad we all couldn't have little competitions with the scores of all the little mini games in this game. We could, but we'd need photo proof of our scores. I'd love a friendly competition to keep trying to be the best.

An I the only one who feels there is a slight Final Fantasy influence when it comes to the creation of Yuga? He seems to remind me of Kefka in a way, and his battle music in Hyruke Castle sounds vaguely similar to the final boss in FF7.

That's only because ALBW was too small to build into the storyline. It's a shame that Yuga's role was so temporary and insignificant. I beat that game feeling they could have done much more when it comes to building these characters. Even Hilda barely made an impression. I felt the real antagonist here was the border at my house who offered me rent, and still stayed there for free after he said he was supposedly retired.

All jokes aside, Ravio was the only character in that game that had any form of depth.

Oh man, I still think there was something very wrong with Ghirahim. I recall that one scene where he was dancing around Zelda. Kinda touched in the head if you ask me.

This may be an odd coincidence, but Demise's Sword is described bearing an Upside Down Triforce.

Though I believe this will result in a billion fan made theories, I believe it really is just a coincidence.

May the way of the Hero lead to the Triforce.

Note I don't necessarily believe this, but it could be an interesting theory to think about.

Square Enix called, they want their song back.

Er...

Same here though. Although I do think the lyrics are saying Yuga more because he's full of himself and they wanted to reflect that. :P The song caught me off guard at least.

I just had an upsetting realization. Even though it's not a game spoiler, I'll add it as a spoilers tab anyways.
