I'm gonna begin playing these games soon, currently playing the first two in the list.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 (Xbox 360)
Fable: Lost Chapters
Ys: Origin
GTA IV

Did anybody still figure out the final fantasy XIII-2? I think the ending would have been fine without the "To be continued" dick to the audience. Since when has any final fantasy game ended like that, and if it's true that it encourages us to explore alternate endings, I find that excuse to be bull. Don't force players to do that. I consider the ending that appears after the final boss to be the actual ending.

If the entire world goes to F*** and the bad guy wins? Sure, creepy as s***, and always strips us from any sense of reward for beating both games. But don't throw a "to be continued" at us and give us no clear explanation where the F*** we should continue.

That's my only complaint about these two games. I appreciated the bad ending, I liked it, it gave me one powerful message "don't F*** with time, you won't win" that would have simply created a pure brilliance that should have been stuck to. But of course that black screen appears with those three famous words.

Those words work for a movie or a tv show, not a final fantasy game.

I've seen the crappy ending on Final fantasy XIII-2. and I honestly don't know what to say about it.
they try so hard to save everything to have it all go to sh*t, and the darkness takes over. and then Serah dies!? why... I didn't what it to happen like that. that was pretty much b*tch-slap to the player's face... Really I think it is.

And still playing Tales of Vesperia, I have to say I'm loving this game! <3

It's the moral. Don't F*** with time, you can't win.

I'm just pissed try had to slap a "too be continued" in the end.

I'm halfway into Uncharted 3. I might as well get this game over with before I completely forget what the hell I was doing.

As for XIII-2, the part where Serah dies was completely random. I don't know what Square was thinking at that point. I compare XIII-2 ended to how Modern Warfare 2 ended. Too many unanswered questions to be continued in a sequel.

I haven't gotten to play Final Fantasy XIII or the sequel yet, but from the way it sounds, I'm going to laugh if it gets as long-winded as the Kingdom Hearts games. Are they honestly planning on making FFXIII a full-out series?

Anyways, I just re-started playing Sonic Classic, a really neat fangame that feels just like the original Genesis games, and each Act gets 8 missions to try and complete to unlock extras, such as playing as Tails and Knuckles. Of the top of my head, the missions for each level are...

1: Complete the level with 200 Rings or more
2: Find 8 hidden Silver Rings hidden in the level before finishing
3: Play through a mirrored version of the level
4: Defeat every enemy in the level
5: Beat the level with all Rings removed and powerups replaced with Eggman boxes.
6: Start as Super Sonic, run out of Rings and you die
7: Find and defeat a miniboss hidden somewhere in the level
8: Finish the level in a very short, pre-set amount of time

Anyways, I'm re-playing this because it recently got updated with something that's supposed to make it run faster or something, and I had never gotten around to finishing all the missions, and have never actually beaten the final boss. (There's only one ring in that level, and it's hidden out of sight. I haven't been able to find it, and so have been trying to beat the final boss ring-less)

Has anybody else played this yet? You can find it on Sonic Retro, and it's a lot of fun.

Good job ruining (What I assume to be) key plot point in a recent game. I really needed that told to me.

Why did you only quote me? NewJourneysFire ruined the ending too, so don't go blaming me for ruining the ending.

He's more talking generalizations, and Dawnlight hid any mention he made of specific events that happen in the game.

Anyways don't worry, chill. Whats said has been said and nothing can change that. Unless you have access to a time gate >.>

Yesterday I played through LIMBO, start to finish, in one sitting. Sad thing is even though the game is only 2 hours long, it's still way too long. It reaches its high point in the first 20 minutes and then it's all filler the rest of the way.

Currently playing:

Legend of Grimrock

Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide

Torchlight

Warcraft III (original campaign)

Mount and Blade: Warband

Crusader Kings II

(Can you tell what kind of gamer I am?)

Once you beat the game, the Giganto Monsters are a walk in the park.

Hm... they do? I guess I'll have to wait awhile then. I thought I was nearing the end of the game (I'm now at Zaude)
But it seems in the walk-though I'm reading there is more to do after xD.

Uh oh, did you do that prerequisite before you set foot on Zaude? If you didn't you can't get the bonus dungeon.
