I completed level 2. In some posts it is said the ladder is in King's island...

you need the white sword off of King's Island to get to another island, which is where the ladder is.

Should be in the small house with the soldier in it. Buy the stolen prints off of Fiend's to get it. I made the game to where you don't need a number of hearts for any sword in case someone was doing a 3 heart run.

I got the boss key from this room, but I can't figure out how to get out without dieing or F6.

(Couldn't find any walkthrough walls.)

you can go back through the waterfall

Where is the gold ring? Not because It sounds noobish...

Also missing one heart piece. I got 9 from main dungeons and:

1. Heart piece from cavern prior to ruined King`s castle.

2. Heart piece from cellar in the isle that houses level 2.

3. Heart piece from the grave in the Haunted Isle.

4. Heart piece from battle mini-game in Goron Isle.

5. Underwater heart piece north of cavern with goron passes sold.

6. Bombable cavern in Secret Island.

Shouldnt be, given everyone got through this just fine. You need to present the prints to the soldier. On Gordon Island, play the whistle in between two smaller rocks. Crap, I meant provide a hint for that on City in the Sky....Moosh could you change that with the next patch? Also, the gold ring is in the bonus level. There's a hint provided on the Isle of Secrets.

A NPC on the Isle of Secrets mentions a strange cactus in the desert. It's one screen north of the starting screen and you need to push it. IDK about the heart piece thing, you'd have to ask KenMeister on that one.

Do you have a potion in your inventory? I believe it uses the letter item, a leftover of the quest's age.

Uh, you already have three hints in that shop. Also the cave entrance should show up when you use the lens, shouldn't it? It's no more obscure than the dive heart piece IMO.

Found the secret dungeon, but got stuck with this:

I stared at this room for a good while and I'm pretty sure it was impossible. I added in an extra tile to fix that. Ken made some changes to this bonus dungeon that I wasn't aware of and some of them I don't really approve of. Oh well, it exists.

Once again, do you have potions? Potions overwrite the letter item in ZC. Use up the potions and the letter should be there.

Odd I swore I put a tile above the one next to the door... I even tested that, too. It happens, as much as I hate to admit it. At this rate, I'm kinda hoping no one has Lped this until someone beats the game. Basically I stopped at the end of level 6 and the secret dungeon, and since no extra changes were made to levels 7-9, I didn't go beyond that point since I was rushed out the door.
