You said only the ice sword is needed to get rid of the bushes but I though the fire sword could be used for it too. I have not tested it though. Nice review! I really mean that, you are actually very nice when reviewing and rating these quests (not on Anthus' quest only but on all your reviews). Others, like me, would continuesly rambled about how short the quest, and abrupt the ending is and all. ![]()

Ya, I tend to be pretty nice when reviewing quests, as I don't want to, I don't know, be too harsh I guess. Also, the fire sword doesn't work because the sign says it doesn't and also I tried it and it didn't work for me. And ya, his quest is pretty short; if it was longer, it would easily have a score in the 9/10 category. So it was a bummer, unfortunately. But cool and interesting quest nonetheless.

I'll be starting Return to Zorkda right now. Expect a review by tomorrow (hopefully). I definitely won't be finishing all of the two-week contest quests before school starts, but that's okay. I'll probably finish them by then end of next week, maybe..... ![]()
I also have to say that so far playing and reviewing the two-week quests has been really fun and I've enjoyed doing it! ![]()

Just going to say that I will not be able to review Return to Zorkda today because I will be far too busy with preparing for school (which starts tomorrow for me). Once I have the time this weekend (including Friday), I will finish the quest and review it. Sorry about the delay, guys! Anyways, luck to all who also start school (or college) tomorrow! ![]()

I like the review too. And yeah, the quest got cut really short, but I couldn't stand the thought of once again not releasing something, so I put it out anyway. The favorable reviews make me wish I started on time, an took it more seriously
. I've mentioned this before, and, no promises, but I'd like to flesh this out more, and at least finish the other two planned areas up.
As far as the shop, that was added with the intention of the game being longer, but I also left it in, more or less cause I kinda forgot about it.

Actually, all the items in the game are done with the item editor. The Ice fang is a regular sword with a power 0 beam which stuns enemies, and the fire sword is actually just the wand, with different graphics, and the "use wand as melee weapon or whatever" rule. As a result, the fire sword won't cut the bushes cause the game thinks it's a wand. I suppose this could be circumvented with scripting, but I think it's fairly minor since you can get other swords that work on bushes ![]()
There was another sword that used lightning as its element which acted like the Ice sword as far as stunning enemies, but it could pass through multiple targets, stunning a row of enemies. With the 'rocket launcher' (bow and arrow) it was pretty satisfying to take out rows of enemies this way. There was another planned sword, that never got made, but it would basically be a 'plasma' sword that has a beam that damages, and passes through multiple enemies not unlike the plasma beam in Metroid.

These reviews are put in so much detail! After the 2 week contest quests, do you plan on reviewing quests in general? ![]()

Hey, if you have the time to do so, then I'd really like to see more reviews from you! It would actually be a bummer if reviews just ended to happen, like the very past review threads, but what can you do ![]()
Those reviews also help lots of quest makers to see what errors are being made, so they can improve.

Cool! And that last sentence, I completely agree. On the other review topics, I posted that same statement to try to get them to come back!Hey, if you have the time to do so, then I'd really like to see more reviews from you! Thanks for the feedback guys! Also, sorry about no review yet, I've been WAY TOO BUSY yesterday and Friday. Sorry, I'll try to get it done today (I still have to finish the quest) even though I still have to do my homework. So sorry, I won't let this die like the other review topics out there! ![]()
