Where exactly near what river? From start of the game in which direction should I go in unknown world? I did find the red mail while traveling around using my magic wand but no book.

level 6 is at the top of the overworld there is a place you go called shine shrine it is near top middle of overworld very top near the middle. Once in there you need to have completed the first 5 levels and have the magic sword and the power glove which is level 2 bracelet. You get that at the knil place in the area where level 5 is after you get the hammer you go to knil place and get the magic sword and power glove there after killing all the enemies. Once you have power glove go to shine shrine and use your magic boomerrang to get the boss key which you should have already done. Then go to left room move dark block and that is level 6.

Here is how to get to the magic book. Only if you want to look though. I'm sure there is a quicker way there. But here it is.

From where you start the quest go up, go right, go right, go right, go right, go right, go up, go up, go right, go right, now cross the bridge, go right, go up, cross the bridge, burn the middle bush on the left. You can buy the book there.

Did you get the master sword? If you do, check around the very first screen you've been to.

Yup!! that's exactly where I am, but some how  can't find the hammer!!

mostly I'm doing and redoing the walking !

Okay, first, get the boss key, and one normal key. Then go here.

If the picture doesn't work, please right click and click on "open image on new tab."

 

After that go into the door, and just keep going forward, and you'll eventually find the hammer.

PS: Jubbz is doing a playthrough of this quest right now. You should also take a look at that.

GOT THE HAMMER   after posting here , started walking with no stooping  straight to the hammer!!

Now I need a lid to the boss -- any advise???

Where might I find the bow in Level 2. I've been through it and I don't feel like scouring it for the bow again. I know It's in Level 2 and I've been everywhere I can without it.

Finally picked this up and had made my way through a good portion of it, though Isle of Rebirth took some attention away for a bit, but I got back to it and made it to level eight. Before I go on, though, anyone know where the red ring is? If I'm supposed to get it in or after level eight, then never mind, I'll find it myself, but if I was supposed to get it before level eight, I think I might like it before I do this level, it seems like it might be a little tough. Not that I can't do it, I just feel like in most quests I would've found the red ring by now, but it's no big deal. Great quest so far!

I think you get it for beating that guy again... Not sure.
