I had to make a completely new file. Thankfully all I had to do was the Quiz and the 4 way room again. And by split paths room I meant the room with bushes and the trees. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Or not.

Also this is random but you REALLY did an awesome job on the pit room. (The one with the moving platforms that's to the left of the split path I keep talking about.) Seriously, I must of spent a good minute just looking at it and imagining all the effort you put into making the Combo Cycling work perfectly. As someone who's working on a huge complicated Quest like this. I'm familiar with how annoying Combo Cycling can be sometimes.

Alright, lemme open up my maps and give a screen-by-screen description of how to get through.

1) Start from the hub screen that has the openable trapdoor, some pits, and you can leave the screen in any direction.
2) You can technically go in any hole and then go through the basement maze, but to make things simpler, go right a screen, then down one, and fall in a hole on this screen. You'll end up near a ladder.
3) Go right a screen, past the water, then around and up the ladder you saw a second ago.
4) Hit the button here to get rid of the barrier on the other side of the wall, then fall in a pit again.
5) Go through the maze and end up back at the hub screen.
6) Go right two screens, down one, right one, and then up the ladder to reach Floor 2.
7) Make it through the screens on floor 2 to reach the button.
8 ) Backtrack to the hub screen again, then go up a screen, up the ladder, and through this area again to reach the center area with the medallion.

Oh, and thanks for complimenting the pit room. It wasn't that hard to set up actually, just took a little trial and error. I love the effect with the shadows when you fall down though. And speaking of that room, I was helping a friend get through the end of the game on skype today, and it took him like an hour to get past that. I wish I could have helped. Then when he did get through, the game crashed at the following cutscene. Twice.

But yeah, that sucks about having to start from scratch. What exactly happened? Did you save and it kept placing you in an inescapable area? I'm trying to figure out how that could happen, but there were a few non-entrance/exit warps here and there, due to falling in pits and the Granpappy event, which required boss flags.

I explain that one pretty well in an earlier post. It's the first ladder you encounter, just a couple screens away from the entrance. It starts out with three walls around it, you have to use a super bomb on the waffle to the screen right of that, and then go through the basement (push the box to open the barriers) to come out on the other side and hit a button.

If there's any confusion, the "waffles" are the 4x4 block formations that look like, well, waffles. Kinda like this:

Well ok then. Seems like Level 7 is easily the most confusing. Funny, since 5 is the maze and 6 is .... yeah. But anyway, here's a slightly less in-depth description.

- From the hub screen, take a left. On the screen with water, hookshot across the water and bomb the crack in the floor to fall down.
- Go through the little hall, up the ladder, hit the button, then back through and come out on the water screen.
- Go down and right, past the little block maze, and into the basement again.
- Two screens of basic block maze here, go back up to Floor 1.
- Hookshot across more water, go through the completely empty screen of doom (you can get a fairy from killing everything, but I still hate how I couldn't think of anything to put there), then up and kill everything to access the ladder to Floor 2.

Yeah, I was stuck in the uppes left corner. I could go through the wall to the left to go to the upper right corner of the pit room. But then I was stuck in the upper right corner...

It's underwater in the pool room with the little waterfall coming down, just keep hitting A and you'll find it eventually. And I think the lens of truth probably shows where it is too.

If you found all six keys, you can head to "Level 9" (which really isn't, but regardless, it's the southwest corner of the map). If not, you have to go in level 8 again to find the ones you missed.

You can also do the bonus level if you never did that, and try to find the cheat code.

Just found another continue glitch. Continuing in the Level 1 part of Level 9 makes you appear here.

Saving gets you out of it though.

Zorlaf - are you serious? It's just a series of enemy screens. Nothing complex about it, aside from the fact that you need keys from level 8 to get through.

Sinfex - for me, continuing there used to put me in the timed task screen with the hidden staircase and layers above everything. Not sure if it still does, but yeah, I know there's problems with those 8 rooms.
