Prepare Yourself 2? aahhh I dunno. Like I said this is a concept quest. If there is a sequel, it will probably be the other quests made in this style (hoping that's done).
As for stuff
1: A little podunk town - You start here, so not much trouble finding it. This place sucks though.
2: Fields - East and south of town is what you can consider the "overworld" part of the overworld, and probably the largest portion of the map, rivaled by misery mountain. If you die here, you'll revive in the statue park, a screen north of the whistle. A screen WEST of the whistle has a hidden passage north to a secret money cave.
3: Emerald Forest - Moblins and some octorocs, but otherwise a pretty nice place. If you have a blue candle from the statues east of Podunk, you can search for the wooden arrow and the lady with the maze solution. You'll need to navigate the maze if you want the Bow. And you do want it, of course, no matter what. North of the woods is access to Port Ruby.
4: Dries - The only way to reach the dries is to go under the bridge that leads to the woods. This place has the blue ring dungeon hidden in a small bump of rock to the west, and the entrance to a cave system hidden north. This cave system connects to Port Ruby and contains a wooden boomerang.
5: Port Ruby - A somewhat better town than Podunk. However, their shipment of swords and shields has been slowed, as access to Sapphire city has been blocked. Link will have to settle for the claim check. Level 8 is located in an alcove off the Ruby Sea, just out of reach of the town. In addition to the cave coming from the desert, There is another cave that will lead a man through a difficult detour to Sapphire City.
6: Sapphire City - A bright city of neon lights, fireworks, and love, located up in the mountains. This is where swords and shields are produced, and Princess Zelda has come here too to check up on Link's progress. Keep in mind travelers, that "Sapphire" and "Seizure" sound just a little similar.

7: Bloody woods - The hideout of Wizzrobes. They're holding a congregation there right now, and are very protective of the magic rod. Like level 9, you could probably make a dash straight for it, but.... with that congregation... yeah... These woods are located far east of Podunk. South of them is a small chapel where the book is guarded (but lightly)
8: Misery Mountain - A cold and horrible place, full of death, pain, broken dreams, a power bracelet, a free raft, and the slash technique. Located high in the dark, snowy peaks of this hell, you may find the Hammer. Then, you'll be trapped with it... for the rest of your life...
--Dungeons--
Whistle - pretty straightforward. Nothing to say.
Bow - solve the maze of the emerald forest to find this. To find the Bow itself, seek out the compass of the dungeon.
Blue Ring - Located in the dries, listen to the old man's hint to figure out to "use" this dungeon.
Red Candle - in the cave to Sapphire City. Find the compass to save yourself some time in it.
Magical Sword - The old lady just east of Podunk knows where this dungeon is located, and revealing it is considered spoilers, so don't do it. It was placed in the most bland, unthinkable spot that popped in my head, so... There's a mirror shield in this dungeon, btw.
Wand - The head of the Wand is a bit of a guessing game unless of course you've done it before. Find the right room up there to save yourself a lot of trouble. That magic rod is still hard work.
Hammer - Speaking of hard work... The hammer is the first thing you see when you enter this dungeon. Your only goal here is to escape this place... ...and misery mountain... alive. If you win, you'll find yourself south of the mountain near the statue park.
Red Ring - Just out of reach, west of Port Ruby. You can find the red ring here, sure... but why stop there when you can wage battle through the place for something nicer?
