Where's the atom bomb hidden in this quest and what are the Water Palace's coordinates?

So?

I'm asking just because finding out that Nayru's Love doesn't protect from red bubbles, not even when there's a pack of splitting darknuts whiches doesn't let me to throw the fire boomerang into the bubbles while I also should hammer them... well, the central key is unacquirable. I have one key from that place, I'm standing at the entrance of Level 8 now (Mt.Death most be bombed, too!!!4!!4), so I will use the extra key to pass a random door in L8, so I don't need to find a key there.

Is there a key shop somewhere? If so, I could accumulate so many keys that I could simply grab the master key in Water Palace and then ram the boss. Which I guess is 6 pieces of 4 headed fire gleeoks with 2 batrobes, a red item bubble and a red sword bubble. Man, even Lost Woods and it's gameplay order dungeon surroundings didn't frustrate me this much.

At least L7 was extreme exciting, especially that I forgot to bring full potion. :O

I had the same problem before with another quest made with LOZ BS tileset
then I remember getting stocked at any dungeon door, then I press F5 and press continue
while holding the control key and I could continue playing the quest,,,!
but at this 9villages" this doesn't work, no matter what, just don't work
If I get killed inside any castle, I press continue and all I get is sticked to the door entrance
don't matter if I press F5 and the press continue, just don't go,
Its only work on version 2.5 7878?? or so,, but this quest was made for v2.10
v2.5 is buggy and overload my pentium4 heat!
version1.92 don't work either , so can't figure out what else to do to play this quest
Am I the only one with this bug??? weird isn't?

vravelo, iv asked in 2 other place in this thread if anybody has had the same problem as you, and there were no takers. i have no idea why you have that problem or how to fix it for you. sorry, i got nothing and it appears nobody else has any idea either.

castchaos, i have no idea what youre talking about. first, i had no idea nayrus love doesnt protect against bubbles, i guess it just never came up with me. but every dungeon should have blue/green bubbles somewhere around. there is no key shop, that just makes too many shortcuts in the game, especially with the odd free rupee bug that was pointed out to me. the water palace in northwest of kakariko village beyond the raft path (level 4 in the original game).
now for my questions. "central key"? "that place"? extra key from where? use a ton of bought keys to get the magic key, isnt that a little unnecessary if you bought a ton of keys?

by the way, the free rupee bug is something that i found out about the other day. its way to instantly get tons of rupees, and if you know what it is please dont mention it in here. just a hint, its got to do with a couple of the houses.

By "central key" I mean the key that is the closest to the center of the map of Water Palace. I think I described the room well by listing the enemies and telling why is it so impossible. There sure are blue bubbles somewhere in Water Palace, but because of things like one-way-shutters I can't walk around like I was on a pleasure trip, searching for blue bubbles every time I get hit by a red one. Especially that it's near impossible to avoid that red bubble in that "center key" room.
And "extra key" means that I got a key in Water Palace and used it up in Level 8 because one of the keys there would have been too hard to get. But what isn't too hard there? I beaten it, nevertheless.

uh, castchaos... why did you ask for the location of the water palace if you were having problems in it? second of all, if you missed a key in level 8, and refuse to go back to get it, you will not be able to beat the water palace. you kind of need all the keys in the water palace in order to beat it. and just so you know, the water palace is meant to be really hard. the magic key is an optional item and is in no way required to beat the game. and if you use a key from minilevel 8 in the water palace, i do not want to hear you complaining about how theres not enough keys in the game when you find the optional dungeon too hard for yourself to beat.

by the way, apparently you need the gold arrow to beat the water palace, i didnt realize you would, but its fine i guess.

Oh man... "Where's the atom bomb?"+"What are the coordinates of Water Palace?" should be obvious that I got so frustrated by that dungeon that I wanted to drop and atom bomb on it...

And yes, I won't complain about lack of keys and if I ever want to try the Water Palace again, then I need to go back to Level 8 getting that key that I missed OR use the one I just got in the swamp mini-level. Maybe I really overreacted about this Water Palace, but I still think Level 8 and up are too hard enemy-wise. I agree difficulty needs to grow, but hordes of splitting darknuts, mirror robes and such are too much, even with Nayru's Love. Also, they are practically impossible without ring and sword upgrades, so those upgrades aren't secrets anymore, rather mandatory things. OR my skills rusted.

I didn't like the Water Palace at all, the one reason is the two DeathKnights that guard the Boss Key.

right, obvious...
anyways, youre not supposed to like the water palace. it is extremely optional, and really might only help with minilevel 8 and level 9. its there more as a real challenge. if you beat everything easily, then you still have something that will be more interesting. lots of games use this concept with optional enemies and caves and whatnot.

and as far as the enemies go, splitting darknuts are easy once you get the hammer. and if you did buy the red suit (instead of spending every penny you had on superbombs) then they would be even easier. that far along in the game blue darknuts are just way too easy, so i stand by my choice of the splitting darknuts, and would like to hear if other people disagree with me on that too. also, the hordes of mirror wizzrobes in level 8. there is one room where you have to kill them to get a key, there is another room that you dont have to kill them. i dont really consider that to be a single horde let alone multiple. this is the last triforce dungeon, if not there, then where should i be introducing mirror wizzrobes? and wind and bat wizzrobes arent that hard either if youre including those in your complaints, you just need to pay a little more attention to where they appear.

by the way, when did the red suit and magic sword become secrets? each of them is for sale IN A MARKED SHOP IN A TOWN ALONG THE ROAD. and dont say its cause the wallets are in an optional dungeon, i mentioned in the readme that the first two are really important to do while the second two are hard and not important.

obake-san,

I just beat the quest, and all I can say is that it was awesome!
I only found 2 (very minor) bugs throughout the game, so I thought I'd let you know:

First, in Level 8: the map doesn't appear. I checked your maps and the room where it is marked, I beat all the Darknuts (several times) but no map...

Second, In North Castle, there is a boulder that you can push to open a path; the problem is, you can push it on to the castle wall, which should not be possible.

Those are the only problems I found, and I beat everything. Awesome work!

since I've tried everything with no success, then I'm unable to solve this
will put this on hold till someone come out with any solutions, hopefully!

vravelo, I get the same "stuck at dungeon entrance" bug also, but I think it is a bug with the Zelda Classic, not with the quest. I say that because it happens when the opening text for the dungeon comes up; I can then reset and start again, getting no text, and am able to move freely. One time, I even opened another quest first, then reset and opened this one, and the error did not occur, so I don't blame the quest, but the Zelda Classic program (using 2.10).

imzogelmo, thats a pretty common bug with this quest. it seems to happen with specific quests, but only to certain people. i have no idea what causes it so i cant fix it, but its not a big problem cause as you pointed out its easy to resolve. vravelo has something a bit more extreme, apparently. hes the only one whos claimed to have this problem, so if there are others theyve kept quiet about it.
