You can enter that house hrough the chimney. Go east one screen from the house, up the hill, west one screen and walk into the chimney. "Sord" is the hint that you get the "sword" there.

You would be surprised how many times that question has been asked.

Yeah, it's a clunk in the head that might scream, "This isn't the first time you'll be tricked out of your mind." icon_wink.gif

And who added my quest to the database as "Link To the Heavens"?

How about next time you update the file, include a hidden person that tells you how to get the sword. So many people can't figure out.

Interesting... I've never seen someone rate a quest a 4 just because they didn't like the Level 9 MIDI, which I happen to believe fits the theme perfectly (and sounds great).

You see much stranger things among the PZC comments, so don't count the comments. You made a 5 star quest, end of story. Was the Level 9 midi the remixed/changed version of the AoL palace music? That music has a so dangerous feeling...

It was the Grand Palace from AoL, remade to sound much better by Pineconn's older brother.

Let me start by saying how great this quest is so far. The planning and execution are impressive. I've had to come read this thread quite a few times when I've gotten frustrated, but it's usually been one of those *slaps self on the forehead* moments when I see the solution. My problem now is in level 5. I've been in two entrances - the one that comes in at the southern part of the dungeon, and the the one at the eastern tip. I have the hookshot but seem to need the flippers before being able to get any farther. I've read that there are three entrances, but I can't find the third. I'm sure once someone tells me where I'm going wrong I'll be slapping myself on the forehead yet again...

You can access the third entrance only with the flippers. An that's not the east tip you can access, rather the west tip... icon_eyebrow.gif
You need to enter that west tip and there is a route that takes you to the flippers. Keep in mind that there's a room where you can hookshot over and you also can fall down there.

You're right - WEST tip! (I'm slapping myself on the forehead)

Thanks to all. I now have a sord and am in level 1. Please forgive me, the last quest I played was more of the 2d variety.

Thx,
the Prussian

I am stuck with the timed arrow room in Level 8 (I did download the update with more time given). I'm not sure if I have the longbow -- the bow I have is blue. If this isn't it, where is the longbow?

The longbow is in one of the hotels. Probably in the graveyard hotel, but it's surely not in the cloud hotel. I'm not sure, but as far as I remember, the simple bow is red. I know for a fact that the longbow is blue.

Also, don't forget that when you complete that timed puzzle, you don't automatically get warped to the room where you need to, and the timer won't stop. Instead, the block disappears from near the stairs and you can go in.

Memorize the order the statues needed to be hit, as soon as you shoot an arrow go to the next statue, and don't forget, you don't have to hit the exact middle of the eyestatues.
