Oh no, I just realised that Robin's german name is Daraen...? This means I won't be able to play a Robin in smash bros. Well, at least there's still Mii fighters xD

-Mr. GW's hand extending into Wario's frame

-Wario's eye lacking a pupil

-Shulk's face is constructed from Little Mac's portrait

-Levels for player selected characters appearing where names are supposed to be

 

There's more, but I don't care to go into it right now. I actually really like their Ness model, though. I wonder where it came from?

Aevin,

1) The more you look, the more you realize that the characters are actually ordered very specifically.
2) It actually doesn't. It's Wario's jacket.
3) He's not, you can see it behind his nose.
4) Thier faces don't look similar up close
5) That's one thing no one's sure about

I'm not saying this is real. There just aren't any real, obvious flaws with it.

I agree with Aevin. I'd also point out that it's missing already confirmed characters, like the Mii Fighters. It's an obvious fake (although like Aevin, I like Ness's model).

I agree with Aevin. I'd also point out that it's missing already confirmed characters, like the Mii Fighters. It's an obvious fake (although like Aevin, I like Ness's model).

 

From what I understand, it was confirmed you choose Mii Fighters from a different menu if you were to use them instead of a regular fighter. It makes sense seeing how awkward it can be to choose Miis in Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 8. So them not being on there doesn't mean it's fake.

 

Regardless, it looks like someone photoshopped it to me.

 

EDIT: After some searching I can't seem to find where that was confirmed if it was. I could've sworn Sakurai said somewhere you could customize characters and select them in a different menu. Still wanting a different menu for the Mii Fighters honestly.

I can't tell you if it is fake or real, but I can say this.

You notice something ... I do. All of the characters that have been confirmed have the same character model on their character select icon as they do from the official website. I'm sure Nintendo will reveal a returning character and/or a new fighter sometime before the 3DS release date for Japan. If their character model does not match the character icon from the leek screen shot, then by deductive reasoning the leek is a fake. If, however, the character model does match the character icon from the leek screen, I will be inclined to believe this leek is in fact real.

Only reason I personally feel it's a fake is my unrealistic belief that the duck hunt dog would make the cut before Issac from Golden Sun.

Ganondorf's model is clearly not made by professionals, Wario's face came from one of the last Subspace Emissary cutscenes and looks weird, Dr. Mario's is either an edit of a render of Mario or based on his Project M's model, and Bowser Jr.'s model seems like an edit of his NSMB DS render. Finally, Shulk's face is extremely similar to Little Mac's face in an earlier render. Also I don't understand the absence of the Ice Climbers or the addition of Dr. Mario and Dark Pit (then again we have Lucina)...
