Well, the holidays are almost upon us, so I thought it'd be better to go a bit further.

As for Christmas and stuff, nothing much-I'll be staying at home with family, waiting for the moment to open presents and playing video games all day. w00t

Plans for New Year's Day or for the New Year in general?

I gonna celebrate New Year's with my sister, she lives quite far away in south germany. I think it'll be rather a calm little family-ish thing since she's pregnant and whatnot.

And for the New Year: Make my A-Levels, find an university that suits me, try to get a sponsership for studying ancient history and arts. ZC-related: the super special rectum, screendesigning 101, some artworks for some persons over here, at least one other sercret project and MAYBE a classic quest remake (remaking a newer title with a classic feel) or a remake of the classic quest (but that may very well not happen, yet chances are).

And you?

I HOPE I'll be getting the following 3 things:

Laptop

Graphics tablet

GP2X Wiz(because I play old Genesis, SNES, and GBA Roms.)

a couple of flash memory cards for the aforementioned Wiz.

My winter break started, and I don't go back to school to January 20th.

After like months of research, I still ended up not being able to find the Famicom version of Zelda 2. I was rather disapointed because I was looking for a lost track.

As far as I knew, the Cave song, and the Boss songs were changed when they ported the game over to America.

Then... 3:50

I discovered they used the Japanese version of the Cave/Battle Theme from Z2 as the Miniboss theme for Minish Cap.

Then, I find no one sequenced it yet. How sad. icon_frown.gif

That was the battle theme for the Japanese version? Wow. I like the American version a lot better.

Yes, it was. You can hear it in This video 3 minutes in.

If you want my opinion? It was a better song than the Boss theme.

So I got FFVIII on my PSP the other day. Been playing it and am loving it immensely. I'm currently about to assassinate the Sorceress, whoever that is O_O

A while ago, I go to my bookmarks, and click on Galbadia Hotel for a MIDI (but the MIDI section was down AGAIN). Then it hit me. Galbadia Hotel. So THAT'S where the name came from.

if you're confused click here.

Yikes, the song that played for bosses in the Famicom version is so repetitive! Thank goodness they changed that!

Well, well, well. Playing metroid prime 2 still, and I just learned something new.

Being I played Metroid a lot, I know what each thing is supposed to do, and, well, I thought the Gravity Boost item just made gravity underwater like it is on the surface. BUT LO AND BEHOLD, I didn't know about the hover ability it has.

Learn something new every day. icon_deformed.gif

I'm not a big fan of First Person Shooters, but I do enjoy Metroid Prime since it isn't just any ordinary FPS. You get to explore, find items and all that fun stuff, so I consider it more of an adventure than just a shooter. I still have never finished the first one though. icon_xd.gif

I never played Prime 2, and only briefly played Prime 1, but I could get too far because I couldn't learn the controls. However, Prime 3 was amazing. The voice acting was perfect, the story was amazing, the gameplay and puzzles were great, and it was overall a really fun game. I got to get the Prime Trilogy.

So today I stubbed my pinky toe and nearly broke it. Not fun at all. And it hurts so much to walk on it that I have to wear a concrete shoe. Very awkward. Well, at least the shoe's blue, so it matches everything else I wear. icon_razz.gif

Argh, stubbing the toe is so painful, especially when it's hard. Good thing you didn't break it, though, right? I can't say I've ever heard of concrete shoes. (Well, other than 'a new pair of shoes', if ya know what I mean.)

Well, they're not entirely concrete. The bottom of the shoe is concrete (for support), the sole is made of some soft material for padding, and some soft cloth stapled to the concrete velcros around your foot, kind of like a sandal.

Where did you get a concrete shoe from? O.o

I always wear shoes wherever I go. I really do my best to ensure my feet are as non-naked as possible. I see my sister going around barefoot wherever, and I have no idea how she does it. Even the thought of the tiniest inconsistency in the cement bottom of a public swimming pool (Where the cement pinches upward, ... know what I mean?) gives me the shivers, and causes me no end of agony for the offending foot. Eek. EEK I says.
