I think I know where this project's going. Looks good either way!
edit: the bridge with the gap is a little weird though I'll admit.

That's intentional. When Link steps on the button to the right the missing planks will extend and cover the gap.

But it is no actual tileset, it's just Pure. >_< All I did was add Radien's edited LttP mountains and my reseized LttP tree. The rest is just avoiding 90% of the tiles that for some reason were crammed into Pure.

That said, looks really good! Very pretty.

I did reseize them, you sexified them, though, right. ![]()

Some old ruins in Noval Forest which leads up to the highlands.
(Took Sheik's advice and shrunk the trees down... I had to rework a ton of screens but I think the results are coming out nice. I also heavily referenced Sheik's tree tiles, hope he doesn't mind. Oh, and no, Sanctuary Tree is far from dead. Though this project might take Lost Historia's place...)

I wanted to update my screenshot that I entered into Screenshot of the Week 581 after reading everyone's feedback about the screen.
I intended on only fixing the mountains in the top right, but sort of got carried away with little tweaks and changes and just seeing how things looked.
This screen is supposed to be part of the Overworld where a large forest slowly begins to blend into a large mountain range.
Thoughts?.. (ignore the subscreen)

Carried away you got indeed. I liked the old version better: not so much going on. I still think it's a good screen per se, but the mountains do funky things in your screens. I would aim for something way more simplistic.
Edit: Maybe somewhat more like this (obviously in DoR, though):

Is that palette supposed to be nighttime, or evoke a feeling of cloudiness?
Hmm... I'm not sure. I built it around the browns because I have "two palettes" in one here, i.e. CSet4 is a winter palette and it works somewhat nicely with these colors. It's a bit hard to explain. Basically, there is a lower and a higher part of the lake area and the higher part is covered in snow but I didn't want to have to two seperate palettes for the area.
Edit: So here's progress:
Thoughts?

For some reason, reminds me of Lake Hylia's palette from the Minish Cap. Darn good map you're carving there. I digs.
