I like it better than Oot. Been to exhausted from work to play tonight. I like the 3d zeldas some but I don't think any of them are nearly as good as the original zelda, a link to the past, oracle of ages,  oracle of seasons, and links awakening. I like the zelda classic games better than those to play. They will always be the original but every 4 to 6 months I find a few new quests on here and it's just great. It's really cool what you guys can do with this thing even though there are some limitations. It doesn't even matter The zc limitations You guys find a way to make it just as fun.

I don't like the newer zeldas a whole lot. Phantom hour glass was pretty good. Windwaker was ok. It's just like all the 3d zeldas there are areas where there is not a whole lot of action. Sailing or Hyrule field a million times. Collecting 50 bugs which were all really hard to find just for the wallet. That was like 20 hours of my life I will never get back. They have like a ton of collecting things in them which maybe having one I can handle. Even the skullulas in Oot was kind of boring to me. I haven't played the 3ds zelda or the new one on WII U yet. I am probably not missing much though.

I know saying I don't like the 3d zeldas is a good way to not make friends especially on a forum like this. I just can't help it though.

No worries. I think it's safe to say that the vast majority of the people here prefer the 2D games over the 3D. Not all, but a significant amount. I, personally, find the original NES game to be my favorite, with LttP in close second. ^_^

Being a fan of 2D Zelda, I can tell you that you'll probably like Link Between Worlds. It's a lot of fun, and definitely a new spin on the 2D design.

It seems Im missing a key in level 7. Need it to open the locked door on floor 2.

Found 2 keys thus far, one was on the very south central screen of the basement under ice. The other one was just right of the basement entrance under use. Third key?

Got the wand, but haven't upgraded yet... Remember that was floor 2...

Used the 2 keys I had to open the room you get the map in, and the ice block puzzle to the lower left of the basement.

Where have u used the keys?

1) To open the room with the manhandlas and map.

2) To open the ice block puzzle in the bottom left of the basement.

EDIT: I've reset my save data now, going to use the 2 keys to open up the map room and the 2nd floor.

I made sure you could not screw yourself with the lock doors in level 7. There is a key on your way to opening the path to the center on the second floor to do the last puzzle to get to the boss door.

I am not able to upload photos since my pc doesn't like purezc forums

Still not entirely sure what to do next...

I've now got the book, so the wand is fully upgraded. I went through the right hand portal (2 screens east of the map) and opened up the bridge on the 2nd floor. I forget now how to proceed...

From memory however, I remember that I hated this level the first time around... no wonder I'm screwed 2nd time around...

Did you kill the enemies in the room with the mirrors and the mirror robe?

So you have the boss key and the path opened to the center on second floor?

Nope, not yet, just figured out what to do though... The blue statue in the dark needed to be hit with my hook shot...

It's a really confusing level, cause you can screw yourself over if you open the wrong door with your 2 keys. Hint if your reading this beefy, don't open the lower left door in the level 7 basement until you've upgraded the wand.

Yeah this dungeon will make you use all of your weapons/tools to beat it and keep you on your toes.  Remember those special wall tiles are hook shot points and not arrow targets in that room.

It is do able and the trick is to combo up weapons while you go after the bat robes like bombs or boomerang, that is how I complete that when I play through the quest
