Also playing Civ V from time to time, been loving the Huns, which is weird for me since I usually hate militaristic conquests. Also bits of TF2, been using some of the new weapons, except for the new Pyro stuff because it's...stupid. The Scorch Shot? More like the Scorch s*** am I right? *runs*

Along side it, I'm playing Front Mission on the DS. They changed the sound of the wanzers moving, which I thought was kind of amusing in the SNES game.

Continuing with my Trauma Center craze, I'm now playing Under the Knife 2...and it's kicking me in the rear. Hard. >_<

If you think the first few Neo Guilt missions are hard, wait until the last surgery. It will kick your rear end REALLY hard. Under the Knife 2 was brutal IMO.

In Xenoblade, I'm in the part where you need to hit triggers to open Prison Island. Melia was the star character after the last few hours I played. I guess I'm STILL not close to halfway yet.
In Devil Survivor 2, I got to Day 4 and I think I like story in this game better than the original. The way the story is told is VERY similar to how the story in Persona 4 is told. The gimmick with the storyline in Devil Survivor 2 is that you will see a clip on your cell phone of how an important character in the game dies. Based upon your actions in the game, you may end up saving the person of have that death clip come true. It's a very sick story and I'm enjoying every minute of it.
After beating Persona 3 FES, I started to go back into playing some of my PS2 games. I went back into playing through Grandia 3. I'm pretty close to beating this game. I'm starting to like the gameplay of this again after kind of raging a little at how difficult the enemies were once you hit Disc 2. Also for PS2, I'm starting the play the Kingdom Hearts games. I have never played Kingdom Hearts before. The 3DS Kingdom Hearts influenced me to try out the series.

Been playing Fallout New Vegas like crazy, lately, and just started Lonesome Road, which dear god is scary as hell. Detonating all 30 warheads and finding all the RALPHIE posters is reminding me of all the menial stuff you could find in Operation: Anchorage, in Fallout 3, and I DON'T LIKE IT. NOT ONE BIT. D:<

Fallout 3 and New Vegas are wicked games. But remember citizen, when buying dlc content, it is very important that you take all seditious materials with you, because we all know citizen that learning new things is bad for the brain, only with brand new material can we learn and survive like a true citizen, and remember, if you can't find any communists in your back yard, you're not looking hard enough. Citizen, if you know what the hell I'm talking about right now! Faaaannntastic citizen because new Vegas dlcs are so fun! All of them, now that's the attitude of a true citizen, citizen!

Newcomer, huh? Which games are you starting with? There's two approaches you can take with the series, either by chronological order or the order they were released. I'd recommend going by release so that you get the story in the same sequence it was originally given. Chronological order will actually spoil later plot points.
Chronological order for the games are: "Birth by Sleep", "Kingdom Hearts", "Chain of Memories", "358 Days Over 2", "Kingdom Hearts 2", "Re:Coded", "Dream Drop Distance".
Going by release (might be slightly off, but recommended order): "Kingdom Hearts", "Chain of Memories", "Kingdom Hearts 2", "258 Days over 2", "Birth by Sleep", "Re:Coded", "Dream Drop Distance".
Long series, but totally worth it if you're a Disney fan. General advice, though: make absolutely sure you equip "Second Chance" and "Once More" in each game, especially if you're going to attempt the bonus bosses.

Man that High Entia boss was hard. Riki was pretty much the only character to deal real damage to her. I don't know if its true, but does Melia refuse to battle if she wears heavy armor?

I don't know if its true or not, I didn't use her that much to make her learn\use that skill to equip heavy armor.
So only thing you could do is try. I don't think it would hurt.

Yep, and there's definitely a very good reason for that.
The team that made the first Tales game -- Tales of Phantasia -- stopped working for Namco after that game. They created their own small company called Tri-Ace, and started out by producing the first Star Ocean game, on SNES. They published it through Enix. Naturally, since it was created by the same team, the feel of the game was very similar to Tales of Phantasia, though it added a bunch of new elements.
Meanwhile, Namco retained the rights to the Tales name... so they hired a new team and had them create Tales of Destiny. Being a sequel, naturally, it also resembled Tales of Phantasia. From that point on, both Namco and Tri-Ace copied each other's ideas in small ways, so the two series feel like they're created by the same people, even though they no longer are. Given the two series' history, the two imitate each other far more than most competing game series do, and they don't seem to have any conflict about it because it's a bit of a "who came first, the chicken or the egg?" situation.
Of course, the earlier you go, the more the two series resemble each other. In my opinion, Star Ocean was Tri-Ace going back and thinking "hmmm, maybe this battle system would be better when viewed top-down." At the same time, Namco probably wanted to maintain everything about Tales that was unique, so they stuck with side-view for the most part.
