I only did a 3-heart run on the original, never got to do it on my MQ disc. My friend has it right now, maybe i'll do it when he gives it back....

Anyway, I don't think I've commented on this yet so I'll do that now. I'm going to be totally honest; I've never beaten the original Ocarina of Time. I got to the start of Jabu-Jabu's Belly and then just kind of stopped. Can't remember why, as it's been a while. Unfortunately, I don't think I own a copy anymore. I do have an N64 though so maybe sometime.
Same here, except I remember why I stopped playing. I got stuck on the miniboss. >_> ...Oh c'mon, gimme a break, I was, like, 5. Or maybe 7 or something, I can't really remember. But, I do have a copy of it, hell I have 3, the original N64 version, (Note: I do not mean the Golden Cartridge, red-Ganon-blood, Islamic-Fire-Temple-chanting version, I don't think that ever got released in Europe.) the Collector's edition Zelda disc that came with some copies of MK:Double Dash, (the disc with Zelda 1, Zelda 2, OoT, MM and a WW demo.) and the Master Quest disc that came with Wind Waker. However, that will not stop me from getting the 3DS version, and completing it. And maybe even completing Master Qust. I doubt that, though, any time I play through a game that has a harder version, I usually don't do the harder version unless I got through the game really quickly or it was too easy.
Oh god, so much rambling. I need to try and stop doing that.

Ooh, a 3 heart run in 3DS' MQ will be HARD.

Come to think of it, while I have done a 3-heart run on the original OoT (with many other restrictions in play as well), I've never done one for MQ. Maybe I'll attempt it some day when I'm bored.

Question, when you guys do a 3 heart run, do you do this without dying once? I might be interested in taking this on on Youtube someday...
Well, when I did my "official" one on my YouTube page, I did end up dying twice and using a fair number of fairies. I'm sure it's possible to do without dying, though it might depend on if you count using a fairy as a death or not. It's definitely easier to do once you've played the game enough and know it inside and out.

When i did my first ever 3 heart run (Of any Zelda Game) on Master Quest for my Youtube i used alot of faries but since i'm just so 1337 at Zelda i don't think i died much just used like 8000 faries
But really Master Quest 3DS will be harder for a 3 heart run too bad i can't record that that would be more fun for viewers.
Also i pre-ordered the game last night along with ordeing my 3DS (Also got my 4th Copy of Rayman 2 for it
So hurry up already June 17th (EU release date)

I've heard everybody say that MQ has "redesigned" dungeons, but... What does "redesigned" mean? Does that mean that the entire physical layout is different? Or just the puzzles? I've never played MQ before, and I'm getting excited for it, but if they are using the same dungeon rooms, just with different puzzles, I'm going to be a bit disappointed.

This may seem like a dumb question, but here goes (after all, the only dumb question is one not asked, right?

Master Quest, at least the one from the Gamecube uses the same floor layout for all the dungeons, but changes things like switches and pushable blocks in a way that makes it almost like a new dungeon. Also there's tougher enemies. Now I seem to recall hearing that the "Master Quest" here is just the original with left and right flipped with enemies that deal twice as much damage...is this true? If it is, I'm pissed.

What?! Why would they make something new called "Master Quest" that is just a lazy 'upgrade' of the original quest when they already have a Master Quest that is much better? It just doesn't make sense! I really, really hope whoever you heard that from is wrong.

Not dumb at all. I wasn't sure until I actually played it. XD
It wasn't the exact same on the GC, but it was really close. Tougher enemies and slightly changed things here and there. For example, there were cows in Jabu Jabu. Cows. They were altered, ableit not drastically. It'd better be, at the very lest, this. I'd be severely disappoint if it didn't.
But yeah, the actual dungeon maps haven't changed, but the puzzles have.
