WOW, according to Serebii, the release date for the US is March 6, 2011, and new English names have been revealed! They changed Professor Araragi's name (A genus of a butterfly) to Professor Juniper (another tree) ...

Um, ahem. neat, March. Just like HG/SS. I'd say I can't wait, but to be honest, I can. After watching my brother play the Japanese version, I think I'll just stick with HG. It looks like just another Pokemon game, with nothing really exciting to draw me in.

March 6th is confirmed. I got an email from Nintendo saying that, plus it also reveals that there are more then 150 new Pokemon. Here's a screen of the email they sent.

Grass starter pwns the Water starter. Really, one of water's weaknesses is grass. But the water starter does look... good. But check out the Grass starter's evolutions! My favorite is its last evolution.
Also, this is the first Pokemon game that I'll actually nick-name my starter and the rest of my Pokemon. (As far as I know...)

The, Clown Otter is awesome because it so looks like an edt of piplup

That's another reason why I didn't want it, because it looks too similar to Piplup, and I already don't like Piplup to much. I only need one for the Pokedex, and once it and it's evolutions are filled, it gets and stays boxed.

Because Pignite is as ugly as siiiiiiiiiiiiiiin, or just that the other ones look a lot more original/better. I'll probably go with Smugleaf myself, anyway. With a different nickname though >.>
