Quickly-made screens, with themes coming from IRC:

the tough-to-see tileset and very muted colors are both a bit awkward. you have some seemingly random water edging going on, which I think I'd usually dig, but in such an unnatural set it might be better to just use borders/shadows around all of it. the turnips or beets or whatever could use some variation, even if it's just horizontal flipping. same for the two of the exact same stick poking out of the water. I usually like your screens a lot more than these.

How's this for a Pirate Ship entrance?

Maybe?

Oh, and a little teaser too:

Looks good, and is quite similar to some of Shane's shots.

A minor suggestion would be to fix this transition.

That's some really good stuff Demonlink! I'd also recommend to fix up the transition of the vines on the 2nd shot as well as that grass tile FlameCursed pointed out.

Other than what FlameCursed and Eddy said there isn't much else I can critique. Looks great. I'm looking forward to your project :D

I spy a tile error, a missing treetop left of the potion shop in winter. ;)

I've always wanted an Oracle of Seasons-styled quest in ZC... especially one with ALBW-inspired elements... I hope this is an actual project. If not, ah well. Still looking good!

I'm putting the post I'm quoting in spoiler tags due to its size.

If I had known enough scripting at the time, I might have taken on the challenge of an actual seasons-themed quest. I still might  someday after I'm done with my current projects.

I like how the mushrooms have a picking season, but I think the leaf piles are too boxy and awkward the way they are. maybe if they were edged with some jagged regular ground action....

I disagree about the leaf piles... I think they look fine as is and add to the consistency to the style of the tileset.

Anyways, have a random shot:

Shane your bomb sprite looks kind of flat, almost like a deflated ball. What's up with that?

Hmm... I have to admit I'm not seeing it, but I assume it's to do with the shading so I will look into it, thanks for pointing it out.

ALWB-inspired? I also think the bombs look kind of flat. They look odd anyway, but not really in a bad way (rather just unusual), but with the counter in the way the lower part seems non-existent. A bit like a fat mouse from behing sleeping on its stomach.

It might be due to the number that is above the sprite.
