@trudatman: I think I've pretty much finalized the pallete and have begun work on the actual level itself now..

Sephiroth, it looks great. If you're more concerned about finishing the dungeon, I say go for that instead. Personally I did like the "ice dungeon" palette the most, but it's your quest and ultimately your satisfaction is more important than our's. And that's not to say your latest palette is bad, it looks better than the original vision for certain, so good job!

Umm... say what now? lol

Sephiroth, your new palette looks really great! It's a perfect balance, I feel like. Well done!

Otherwise, I think the tile you chose for the floors looks a little weird. Like your red border things are going over the square tiles weirdly. I don't know how to explain it.

I think you explained it quite well. those base floor tiles look really weird with the red upon them, like maybe the red is bricks that would make for rough footing, or something. it's weird looking.

Well, here's my second dungeon. Not sure what I can add to the walls - I don't want to use torches for the walls or floor.

Something like cog wheels might work. Kind of like the Great Bay temple.

There must not nessecarily be something on the walls, though.

...well, there's the big fishes that were on the mountains of the LA overworld close to Angler's Tunnel. That might work, too.

Link: I wonder what this large switch does...

Shane: You could always put some sort of statues on the walls. Otherwise I think it's fine as-is..

Sephiroth, I think your latest take on the palette is the best of them all. Love that true blue and the purple ground. Looks like it'll be a cool water dungeon.

Shane, your dungeon looks really interesting too. Didn't see this one coming! I like the pipes, and I think the walls would be fine even without any decorations.

Maybe little waterfalls (like, 6x10) along the walls? And you can have empty holes for the drained areas.

I really like the atmosphere in your shot, Shane. I can just hear the great bay temple theme in my head by looking at it!

That's good, because that's what this dungeon uses. ;)

Thank you both! I can't wait to get this dungeon started.

No idea what the blue and red points mean, they irritate me a bit, especially the blue ones. The wall-waterfalls look awesome, but together with the additional points the screen is a bit overfilled in my eyes. Also this might be wrong since many prefer it to be less symmetric, but I would like the waterfalls to be more in the middle of the walls.
