Well yesterday found at a local Pawnshop, Super Paper Mario. and thus far I'm enjoying it.

I was able to play it on Project 64 1.6 (with the Patch provided by one of the old developers on PJ64) Just fine.
Just in case that no one has seen it before, here is a Link to the page.

I have to say after I found that I stopped using Project 64 1.7 (Which is good On certain games but it does have it issues <__<)
Ah okay, I haven't tried PJ64 extensively in the last 2 or 3 years as Windows 7 Aero just likes to break vsync (Causing stutter) and turning off Aero results in screen tear even if Vsync is enabled! Joy! (Currently in similar situation with Zelda Classic though the next release on Shardstorm should reintroduce vsync for when Aero is off).

Currently I'm working out how to best configure the recently released Mupen64 Plus v1.99.5 emulator and seeing how well that works both with and without Aero as it introduced an option to force Vsync.

I've been playing around with some of my music on Audiosurf. Quite a few of the songs seem like they'd be much harder than they are. (Want to see something irritating? Try playing "Want you Gone" from Portal 2)

Speaking of Project 64, it's been ages since I tried using it last. Did they ever fix the Toad Town graphical glitches in Paper Mario? I remember that Paper Mario had horrible problems in Toad Town, and there were a whole bunch of graphics that I recently discovered (I put an emulator on my sister's PSP just the other day, and used a Paper Mario ROM to test if it was set up correctly) had never shown up at all. If those problems are fixed, I might have to try playing through it again to see how it was supposed to work.

Well I don't even believe the project 64 1.6 patch upgrade (That can be found here http://jabosoft.com/?articleid=114 ) will be able to get rid of those graphical glitches in toad town... <__<
Heck it even does it on P64 1.7. So I don't think it is possible to play without all the glitch's on any version of Project 64.

Honestly, all of the glitchiness that emulated games might have is one of the factors as to why I stay away from emulators and see if I can get them on the orignal systems or Virtual Console, apart from piracy.

Anyways, I have just gotten the Master Sword and access to Dark World in OoT 3D. Jabu Jabu's belly was easier than I thought, especially after I got the Boomerang.

I just got Theratrhythm Final Fantasy today and first impressions of this game is that it plays brilliant so far. I was skeptical that this game is just another gimmicky piece of Squareware, but after playing around with it for a few minutes, I say it's definitely worth picking up if you're a fan of the Final Fantasy OST's.

I continued with Trauma Team today and tore through a significant chunk. Really enjoying it! icon_smile.gif

Also playing Cthulhu Saves the World. I thought it was rather bleh at first, but having progressed a little, I'm actually enjoying it a great deal. icon_smile.gif

Oh man, that one. It didn't make me cry, but I just felt... empty. And sorry, so pitifully sorry... I need to play Trauma Team again. And get all the medals this time.

Super Paper Mario is a decent game, but I prefer the turn-based Paper Mario games. I know they were going for the whole 2-D to 3-D shift gimmick, which is sometimes used cleverly, but I feel a 3-D environment suits an RPG better.

Right now I'm playing 4 games:
  1. Majora's Mask - For my first time without being completely bored by sidequests. Preparing for Ikana Canyon.
  2. Wind Waker (Link in PJs mode :3) - Collecting pieces of the triforce.
  3. Paper Mario 2: TTYD (redoing corrupt save file) - At Creepy Steeple.
  4. Link's Awakening DX - Doing an LP of sorts on it. Finished up Key Cavern and Color Dungeon, heading to Animal Village.

That was...Why. Choked me up quite a bit. icon_frown.gif I just finished the third forensics mission, which I also found depressing but in a different way. I don't think I'm too far off from the finale.

Just wait until you get to the last forensics mission of the game. It's both happy and sad at the same time. And isn't Gabriel Cunningham the most badassed character in the game? Maybe even more badassed than CR-SO1 (voiced by Nolan North, the guy who voiced Nathan Drake).
