I also attempted (yet again) to start a quest in another tileset and failed (yet again) to get anywhere with it. It's strange; when I use EZGBZ I feel like I'm working with an incomplete tileset (for example it has tiles for a fountain but not the actual water that goes in it) and with DoR I just feel so...dirty and unoriginal...

The trick is use it in a completely original way. Rip in some tiles and go nuts. Gonken's a good example of that, but I think he's gona so far it doesn't even count as DoR anymore...
Anyways, haven't accomplished anything today (I just woke up after all) in the traditional sense, but I had a dream that's been turning the cogs of creativity in my mind, so if that counts for anything...
Oh and yesterday I opened TDW and swapped out a few tiles, fixed a few bugs, created more bugs in the process, and got bored. Progress! ... Progress?

Feeling a bit more competent now.

You could complete a quest using DoR. I can only think of two quests that have actually managed to do that.
I can think of a couple. There's my own, all three of the Bloodline games, Nargad's Trail, Power of Geduina, and Wolfstyle DX. I think that's all of them... so seven total. Yeah, not too many actually.

What I did in NTCC is simply replace some tiles with some I liked better, like Pokemon water, grass and mountains. It really has a different feel to it then DoR, but yet it has the same great palette structure and amount of options as DoR 1.0 has. I like working with it.

The plates with blue pixels (which are animated) rotate the blocks between horizontal and vertical.

I added a bunch of new sound effects. Changed a few minimaps, as well as fixed up my subscreen.
