I really like this. I love the shape of it mostly. You use Koten very well.

First temple of my quest. May or may not change a bit.
Lazy shot in ZQ lmao
This looks very good for sure. I like these kind of detailed dungeons. I do want to suggest something though. Those sand "hills" are quite confusing here, hard to tell if it's an actual elevation, but I bet it would look tons better if it would affect the wall's height. All you would need to do is remove the bottom part of the wall and replace it with sand.
Just a suggestion, but I think you will like it yourself too.

First time using DoR Hybrid...

Took a lot longer than it should have, but thanks to Joel I know how to use diagonal walls I guess ![]()
Edit: Forgot to add another tree to the bottom-left corner. Oops lol
Edit 2: Went ahead and did a dungeon shot too.

Wish I knew how to use the other lava tiles, but that will have to do for now.

Terrible, just terrible, completely clashes with the GB graphics. Wouldn't recommend for Sanctuary Tree at all.TFW you're messing around with another tileset and should be working on your actual project.
Made this in ten or so minutes. My rust is showing, I feel.
(Also not sure where this palette came from, I forgot... I assume it was in that old palette thread, but I could be wrong.)

I have graphics that work for a couple of unfinished things in Firebird like Darknuts and I have some sprites for the Stalfos down. Lynels are on my to-do list, just I haven't gotten around to doing them yet.

looks great to me. I don't see anything that is terrible or even close. the ONLY thing I can see that is troublesome is the hues in the base of the big trees, but it kind of works like it's shadowed and/or dank and/or mossy.Terrible, just terrible....

Have another random shot ![]()

I think I'm getting the hang of this tileset now. Mountains are definitely getting easier for me. The minimap is WIP and will be expanded on at a later date, not really bothered to do that now though.

The only suggestion I really have is to avoid using the base grass tile, since it has less shading than the other 4 offered. But, apart from that minor nitpick, you did good.

I like it! Maybe it's just in this area of your quest, but why are all the mountains tall, closing the screen in? I'm thinking it would be cool to have some elevation which is lower than walking ground too. Still it's just a suggestion. It's also cool that you are using the mountain shadows, but you'll soon find out they are extremely impractical, always forcing you to have walkable grass there.

I'll keep that in mind for later areas of this quest. Thanks!

To be honest, I'm still kinda new to how these mountains work, so I thought that was how they were supposed to look XD
I'll try to keep that suggestion in mind though, and I'll see what I can do about it. As for shadows, I can definitely tell that's gonna be a problem. I wish there were tiles in this tileset without the shadows, but I haven't found any. I should probably rip some, but I dunno right now lol

Allow me to tell you a story. A story from back when this village was called Ordon, of the hero who sealed Hyrule beneath the waves.
This is one of the first screens of a project that I've been considering making for a while, as well as my "I'm trying not to kill myself while I attempt to figure out DoR Hybrid" screen.

Very old, but here is a screen since I'm currently not making any new screens ATM:

I recall this screen not being liked? But eh, I have always loved this shot of mine. I would of loved to complete this tileset (maybe I will do that one day!).
