Getting a lot of Mysterious Woods from Link's Awakening vibes from that map, love it!
Not sure on the green colours though, have you thought of maybe trying some reds/purple instead? Harmonious colour might work better than contrasting colour.

Still need to find/make a good palette for this village. I'm debating putting a dirt or stone square in front of the sign post. What are your thoughts?
I'm very proud of my small edit to the Pokemon pine trees. I reduced them to 2x2 tiles, instead of keeping them 2x3. This makes them more usable!
Edit: Changed the top right mountain to look less square!

I think a bit of dirt around the sign would work. I mean, if you think about it, without any types of tools, it would be easier to pound a signpost into the ground where you don't have the vegetation to force through, and I'm sure people standing in front of the sign to read it over time would have worn away the plant life underfoot.

Holy crap! That's amazing Jared! Everything feels so harmonious. Call me crazy but I think the palette works well here... but I hope you find something you like more.

A shop screen that somehow turned into a shop/cafe! I love what I did with the windows and the curtains. I used some FFCs for the teacups and the teapot. Let me know what you think! (note: the soup....thingy on the top right bubbles!)

I love the palette! It really brings out the theme of the area. It makes me wonder what kinds of things this lake holds!

I like that a lot, Joel! It's not something you see every day. However, I feel like those stairs are too close to the mountain, and the player could get stuck! Also, that piece of land right of the cave entrance looks a little weird. It looks kind of like a triangle, and sort of unnatural. Otherwise, this is an amazing screen!

The stairs are what you messed up; there's no mountain behind them. Either move them up one tile or remove them completely. Also why not use the actual shoreline tiles?

Also, these sandtiles look like they have grass leaves for edges.
