Sadly, your screen is very hard to see with the thick, dense fog over it. :/
And no. ![]()

Yeah, you should probably make the fog layer transparent so you can actually see things.

Then what's the point? You can't see anything...

It's probably more visible when it's animated. But even so, I'd think it would probably look better translucent.

It's probably more visible when it's animated. But even so, I'd think it would most absolutely definitely look loads better translucent.
Fixed it for ya'.

No one mentioned how cool the mountains look? They give a strong impression that they have some semblance perspective/depth. I hope that's intentional and I'm not going crazy lol.

I think you should find simpler fog/mist tiles. I can't really see much of the screen detail thanks to the detailed fog/mist on top. Maybe try the alternative fog/mist tiles in Lost Isle? The ones that are seen in the forest map.http://imgur.com/h34vx28 here it is transparent, though it wont be in game
From what I can make out though, it looks solid.

Good choice. Fog is rarely bright in the day, and to have such bright purple fog in what looks like a late-evening setting, wouldn't work from a visual design standpoint alone, not to mention being an obstacle to following the on-screen action while actually playing the game.

I like your screens, Jared. I'm loving the atmosphere of the second shot the most.

Thank you, Shane! I appreciate it very much.
I forgot to upload the updated shot!

Thanks to Shane for helping me with the dead grass variety. I think it came out very nice!

I think that the GBC walls on that shot kind of clash a little bit because of how prominently they use black compared to every other tile in that picture. Maybe if you replaced most of the black with a darker shade of brown and use it more like how the left/right facing cliffs use it, it would blend together a bit better?

I disagree, myself, and think it's fine how it is. I think the black helps define it more and brings out a more "man-made vs nature" vibe to how it contrasts with everything else on the screen. That's just me though. Ultimately it is up to Jared.I think that the GBC walls on that shot kind of clash a little bit because of how prominently they use black compared to every other tile in that picture.
