Note: some areas have the wrong palette

Looks really pretty! I can see that this is a remake of your Perils of the Past overworld, which is pretty neat. I really love the detail put in to this, so great job with that!

Good map. In some ways, I think this is better than A Link to the Past's overworld.

That looks nice Nokuta!
That's based on ALttP in a way right? Well I said I wouldn't show screenshots of my quest for a while. This isn't a shot, it's a map ![]()
A semi ruined village by the hands of the Mons Gang. Not only that, but it seems they kidnapped a local villager as well! D:

Looks great so far, Demonlink! I love your style of shaping and bending and curving the mountains in your DoR screens and maps. The village itself is coming together nicely. Keep up the awesome work! ![]()

I really like what you got going so far! The village looks really cool (no pun intended) and I love how it looks. Great job.

That looks really cool! So I'm expecting this to be a kind of Jabu-Jabu's Belly sort of dungeon?

Nice work recreating the Pyramid of Power from ALTTP, gives me a lot of nostalgia of the real place ![]()

Here's a map of Floor 8 of To The Top. I never knew you could spit out an image of a full map before so I thought I'd give it a shot. =)

Geeze that came out huge...Sorry about that!
Anyways, this is the overworld map (sofar) for my quest.
Clearly there is a lot that I have yet to do, and certain areas to add in. And yes, I seem to like the open field style more than I should when designing. (I really gotta work on my verity there)
And the village that you see in the corner there is supposed to look all dilapidated like it is. It is newly under construction when you get to it after all ![]()
After i get all the areas put in I think I'll go through and add stuff on the map to make it look less menotenous in it's verity. I also hope people appreciate on how there are no copy and pasted screens... which took longer than I'd like to make. (the grassy areas are the worst... )

Well, it's very bland and boring, but here goes:

Like with the Goriya Garrison, the aim was to create the illusion of depth. Also, the top part is NOT a tile error; it's a fake wall you can pass through to collect a key. You would notice from another room's dead end that you could do that. I think in the future, I should make the lighter colored sections overhead combos so that Link can be hidden behind them if they're below the floor tiles. Again, design isn't my strong suit. This was MeleeWizard's Present from Eddy's Birthday, a very small basic dungeon. Note that dungeons this small are extremely rare from me.

@Nokutaa-Chan Looks really nice! I'm seeing a huge resemblance to the original Hero's Story!
@TheOnlyOne I love this map. It's very interesting and is pretty unique. Really nice stuff!
@Limebeer That looks pretty good. I'll admit though, the map seems quite empty and not like much stuff is happening, the mountains in the north also have a really odd perspective.
@RedmageAdam Doesn't look bad at all, the illusion of depth works perfectly with this map.
