Secondly: Whilst on F-1 north position, there is a boss fight one screen below the top leftmost screen. This bossfight is broken, I made it past the first phase/dialogue and then my character is stuck, cant move and nothing happens at all.
Please fix this, I'm so terrifyingly close to finishing. Thanks so much!

I added a shop in, at the very very end of the Hall of Statues. Just go down the stairs in Deku Tree F-1 and go one screen west. 'dem statues gotta make da moniez, oh yeah. 8-D
lol im dumb
Anyway. I hope I fixed those bosses in the Deku Tree. It helps if you stay low on the screen after beating them, but I hope I solved that problem. It's silly to allow the player to warp right into a string, which is by nature unwalkable.
Anyway, New Version.
Oh, I also made Red and Blue Darknuts a ton easier. Try using various weapons on them.

... though a screenshot would sure help. x X.'
Though try walking through the north-central blood walls. It's a walk-through wall.

EDIT: Thanks to everyone who thanked me. I'm doing this for everyone, not for me, (I already played the quest and was fully satisfied with it way back then.

I also say thanks for the hard work updating to RC3 and the continued bug repair. And I appreciate the added scope as well. But I do offer a caution about making it too easy, because at the end of the day it should still be C-dawg’s Dreams of Yesterday.
Enjoy Life!
Thanks - Joe

I thought that was kinda dumb, but creative.
But because we only could have had all of those lamps be lit one at a time but on the same screen, rather than it having to be one specific lamp which we have to use trial and error on. That's how it worked back then.
So I've marked the lamp that you had to light with a little bit of a glow, if you can see it.

Thank you SO SO much for your continued efforts ShadowTiger, the preservation of this classic is invaluable.
That said, I feel that a few changes that you made have changed the "difficulty" of this game such that it isn't currently at what was intended by C-Dawg. (Note: some of these changes may just be from the RC3 version, you would know better than me)
Here is a list of things that I feel need to be altered in order to preserve the nature of the original DOY:
1. The Lvl 4 sword beams now pass through enemies, while this is great and fun, it is a MASSIVE change to the game and difficulty. Think about some bosses that use multiple like-likes as their "health", the sword passes right through all of them, making it a 1 or 2-hit kill. It makes killing the swirly fly/mushroom monsters a breeze also, it just is TOO strong.
2. Drinking a potion now removes the "cursed" status (cursed meaning you cannot swing your sword) inflicted by the red bubbles. This is not only not intended, but completely can change the Predator's Maw dungeon which is based solely around red and blue bubbles.
3. The Darknuts/nauts/whatever are easier to kill, this is a huge impact on the earlier stages of the game in which those enemies are the sole focus of some dungeons (I.E. Enigma + Candy mines)
4. The permanent shortcut in the jungle leading to the second floor of the deku tree should be taken out, but should still be unlockable as it was before, which is by killing the first boss in the deku tree (the clown).
If players do not unlock this shortcut themselves then they can skip the entire Hall of Statues as well as most of the first floor of the deku tree. *GASP*. It was a great favor for you to have made that shortcut for me, but it should no longer be accessible, it's just too large of a shortcut/dungeon jumper.
5. I'm not sure if you ever fixed the vines/mirrors/pedestal sequence, but I remember that I completely skipped those two dungeons this time around via a warp. Vines is one of the most ball-bustingest dungeons around, and I would hate for people to not have the brain hemorrhages that I had completing it.
If I think of anything else I will let you know. Your work on this quest has been nothing short of astounding. Thank you so much.
