I, for some unknown reason, recently decided to start drawing various weapons in MS Paint.

More to come, soon.

That Barrett, right there, is a work of art, man. Took me two friggin' hours just to draw a pixelated sniper rifle less than 500 pixels long.

Wow, the detail on those are amazing! Love em! While I don't have my fathers eagle here, I can tell you that the accuracy you've got there is more or less spot-on. Great work!

EDIT: I'd like to see you do a Glock 17 icon_razz.gif

I have no patience for MS Paint, so kudos to you, sir.

OCTOPUSSSS

Done for my Tech Direction class. Constructed the 5 x 3 flat, covered with muslin, and then painted on it. Voila. Completed in 5 hours, which is the fasted I've ever painted something of its caliber. It's huge!

Your patience with MS Paint really impresses me, let alone what you pull off with it. :O

Really, I think it should become a rule for this thread that if you post artwork, you must make some comment or critique of the people above you.

The Octopus is awesome. It's really something you need to see in person though to get the sense of awesomeness from it though. That thing is massive people.

Fausch... man. Why do they have furry heads. It's such a weird unappealing form of manga that really is an immediate turn-off. You're crafting a style right now that's dependant way to much on bad art.

Siguy, nice pixel work. Yep they look like guns.

I don't know, I think having them not be human adds a good effect. I don't know about you, but personally, I think that love stories about humans are particularly obnoxious. Portraying the characters anthropomorphically gives them a depth that you can't really get with human characters.

No it doesn't.

If it were a case of trying to attribute characteristics of animals to humans; someone particularly loyal is portrayed as a dog. Someone who is particularly sly, a fox. Someone particularly prideful, a cat, and so on and so on.

This is just drawing people with furry snouts and big anime eyes. There's nothing deep about it.

If you take the time to learn, you can certainly get vast amounts of depth from human characters.

Okay, now you're just being downright mean. I'm done having this conversation; your argument is less about the quality of the art and more about the content, which means it's really not critiquing the art at all.

Also, I like how you stated your opinion as fact. Good job, really good arguement! /sarcasm

Look guys, I'm flattered that you guys are fighting over me, but don't you think that this has gone a wee bit too far?
Lemon, I understand you think that my artwork is bad, and I respect your opinion, but I don't believe that opinion in a subject so subjective as art should be tossed around as fact.
PG, thanks for standing up for me, but I'd quite like for this little squabble to end, so you two kiss and make up.

Agreed. I suppose I should've said something considering it was the post above me, silly me. Those guns are pretty awesomely, and not to mention accurately, done. I'm somewhat of a gun buff, so I dig.

Really like the Vulpix one. Bulbasaur kind of looks like a smurf frog, to be honest.
