I turned my Exp Share off as soon as I got it. I currently have Froagie, Pansage, Beedrill and Torchic all around lv 12~13...

This took me faaaaaaar too long, but I finally got my first shiny ever. (Not counting red Gyrados, but that doesn't really count to me) Many can attest that I was extremely happy to hatch this. On a side note, if anyone wants an Eevee of a specific nature, chances are I've got one. Let me know. :3 (I'm also up for battling! )

 

Also, been working with Russ to complete the regional dex. Should be fun.

 

Congrats, I'm still trying myself, but yeah, I lack a good foreign Eevee to even attempt this.. Double congrats on getting a Female Shiny even.

 

Yeah, some of the crap you have to do to fil this dex... Dan and I traded the same freaking Pokemon back and forth 4 times to fill one of the entries. >_<

 

And yes, Dan is completely insane. His entire PC system is nearly full of the Eevees he hatched trying to get that one. But congrats!

I just want a Ditto safari.  I've a few normals in my friend safari, but they never log on, so I can't get the 3 Pokemon run.

That's alright, maybe I'll get a bite on a perfect soon. You can have it checked in the Kiloude Pokecenter to determine it's IVs if you don't know. The guy in there will mention "they can't be beat" if they're perfect IVs.

Thanks, good luck to you too if you attempt more hatching. If you ever need an Eevee with good IVs let me know. Every Eevee hatched has a minimum of five 31IVs due to the parents both having all six 31Ivs for me. Only have the one female with all six 31IVs though. They're seriously rare. She at least passes down Anticipation and some Egg moves at least.

I never turned it off for me, because I just hated how leveling worked in Pokemon Black & White. It is so stupid that you have to swap pokemons each battle to level more than just one pokemon. I didn't like that! :O

It's not too bad, it could be a lot more confusing.

 

IVs are basically genetics of pokemon. There's an IV for each stat on every pokemon: HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed. IVs range from 0 to 31. 0 being the weakest and 31 being the absolute strongest.

 

X and Y introduced the ability to pass down 5 IVs from the parents if you attach the Destiny Knot item to one of them. As my Eevees used for breeding both have 31IVs in every stat, it guarantees at least 5 of the IVs passed will be that and the other one will be something else chosen at random. So there's also around a 1 in 32 chance of me breeding another Eevee with 31IVs in every stat using them as parents due to the last stat being chosen at random.

It's been like that since Gen II (I don't count Gen I because you can obtain the Exp All item in Red/Blue which is essentially the same as the X/Y Exp Share, but weaker). You always had to swap out to level up more than just one pokemon per battle. That said, I prefer the Black/White Exp. system over that of X/Y because it cuts down on grinding without having to use the X/Y-style Exp Share (which would have been nice to have postgame).

I don't know why the original looks so stupid, but how that one is in that Deviantart link looks 100% better then the official Quilladin.

 

I just felt like saying that, and also I'm wondering why they messed Chespin' evolutions up so bad in the looks department?.

I think it's cute.  Looks like a Russian Doll.  The third evolution couldn't have strayed further, though.
