Shh, Nintendo might hear you and dumb it down. icon_neutral.gif

I can't tell what part your referring to.

If the release date tell that to Zelda Dungeon that's where I got the source from. icon_shrug.gif

Unless you were referring to my opinion towards the shot I linked well I'm positive they won't change it because one opinion against a whole company is highly unlikely let alone a community.

I believe Prospekt did what is called 'making a joke', though we don't know everything about his species yet so it's hard to predict.

Yes, I was merely attempting to make a funny at the fact of how intimidating that screenshot might appear at a glance.

Regardless. That Silent Realm seems pretty neat- kind of like a Metal Gear game that has a possibility to be... FAIR.

Nah, from what I understand, 'The Sky' is Wind Waker's Great Sea, and you only have certain 'points' at which you can jump down and explore a little area (similar to islands in Wind Waker). I do think it will be a little more open in terms of exploring, compared to WW's relatively small islands, but I don't think you can say, move from one area to another, without getting up into the sky first.

I got that, but it's still more of an "overworld" than The Wind Waker had. At least this one looks like there will be some fairly large areas, such as the desert. Hopefully. Also, I don't have the trailer, but one clearly showed Link riding a boat. It'd be strange if he was riding a boat on small lake, so I'd expect each overworld area to be of decent size.

Finally, Game Informer is posting a new Zelda-related piece of information every day this week and next week. Looks like we get a new trailer on Thursday, Friday, and next week Wednesday. Rejoice.

Agh. I kind of want to quit here as to spoil less of the game, though. I mean, now that I've actually paid for it. I'd be more willing if I knew I weren't getting it anytime close to the release date. But dammit, it's new videos D:

I know just how you feel. I didn't read either of the links Evan posted earlier to avoid spoiling it, but actual trailers... I can't resist trailers. Two more months... let's hope they don't spoil anything in the trailers during those two months.

I have been surprisingly unexcited for this, so I guess I'll have the advantage of avoiding spoilers naturally, haha. I haven't really seen anything in the few gameplay videos that screams anything terribly different from what we've seen in other games, but certain items (like the windy jar) were surprising and I'm excited that they seem a bit more wacky than TP's item selection.

Mole Mitts in 3D? How's that gonna work? Eh, it's probably like the wolf's digging in TP.

I'm glad to see the gust jar/mole mitts in SS, since I am one of the guys who believes MC takes place before OoT.

That argument is invalid. Link did that at least two times in Twilight Princess, both areas being pretty small, one of em being nothing but a short river leading nowhere, and the second being the fishing pond.

What I'm saying is that I believe the game's overworld is going to feel more like Spirit Tracks, except you can fly anywhere, rather than having to follow laid-out tracks. In Spirit Tracks, each area was big (for a hand held, mind you), and left you with plenty of areas to explore, compared to Wind Waker's pretty straight forward and small islands (not that it was bad, I love Wind Waker).

I guess what I mean is that I don't think you'll have an 'underworld' overworld, so each area 'down below' will act more like the train stations, or islands in Wind Waker. It certainly looks that way from what I have seen so far (which includes some press-only footage mind you). Aonuma has also stated earlier that they're revamping the way you travel in between areas and dungeons, and that some dungeons will expand beyond the actual 'temple walls' as well, which could indicate that each 'area', or 'island' will be treated more like separate challenges rather than overworld areas. I for one welcome this with open arms, even though I am hoping they won't leave behind the idea of an on-foot overworld for the series as a whole.

You are not alone. Besides, Aonuma has stated that it does indeed take place before OoT, so it is kind of fact, even if some fans either won't admit it or simply don't know that he did indeed say that. But he did, and yes MC takes place before OoT (which has nothing to do with the 'hatless Link' issue, mind you, but all to do whit the fact that one of the lead developers on the Zelda series as a whole literally placed it before Ocarina of Time. There's no arguing that, no matter how much people might want to icon_razz.gif)

Fire Temple Footage and Temple Boss Footage

The music suits the Temple very well the ball doesn't really look like WM+ will be used to move it (because we see Link use his sword while on the ball wouldn't this also interact the ball too?) more of the control stick. Too bad the Boss footage is poor quality and you can't make out the boss music I. I wonder if they will show us some more Boss footage in their next exclusive video footage?

*sees the word "spoilers" in the URL and decides not to click*

Ugh, the anticipation is killing me. I'm glad they're releasing Four Swords Anniversary tomorrow to help a bit, but I'm gonna try my best not to look at any more information on Skyward Sword before it's released. I want to be as surprised as I possibly can; I've learned enough details to prepare myself for the quest and I want the rest to remain silent. It'll be much more fun that way. icon_smile.gif

To me, they're just details, not really spoilers. Just a few. But, good good.
