Have you ever played Emerald? I can't speak for R/S (never played), but Emerald was amazing, and is definitely worth remaking.

I haven't actually played Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald (Even though I bought Emerald 4-5 months ago) but I still think Gold/Silver is the best in the series, which makes this remake something quite special for me at least. It was a no no to get rid of the whole Day/Evening/Night system to start with, as that is TOTALLY BADASS! Plus the apricorn system is sweet, along with being able to get 16 badges, use a phone and all that extra sweet awesomeness. Sorry, I just don't think anythng can live up to Silver/Gold/SoulSilver/HeartGold.

Actually, no. but I have heard good things about Emerald. I can't speak for it myself, but with 2 out of 3 games being bad, well, those are equally bad statistics.

I'm not a fan of the phone. It's cool because you can... call your mom, I guess, but a lot of people ask for your number. You don't necessarily have to exchange with them, but I feel like I have to so I do. And then they keep calling me with nothing interesting to say.

I think a R/S/E remake would be cool if they made them good. The main thing that irked me was the graphics. That killed it for me right off the bat. Also, there was waaaay too much water. Make a way around that, give us some HG/SS graphics, and redesign the male character* and I'll buy it. Until they redeem those games, G/S/C/HG/SS will remain the cream of the crop of awesomenesspokermanz.

I don't think any more remakes will be done; think about it, the reason that FR/LG and HG/SS were remade is because the originals are totally incompatible with the Gen. III and IV games; before now, Lugia and Ho-oh couldn't be obtained legitimately in any game. Now that they have everything compatible, they'll probably continue moving on.

There's also the fact that Hoenn is the only region not redone in 3-D. There's no telling what could happen.

Also, Ho-oh was obtainable via Pokemon Colosseum after clearing the version of Mt. Battle that wasn't part of the main game, and could be traded to R/S/E/FR/LG and Lugia was obtainable in Pokemon XD.

I'm not saying I necessarily want a Hoenn remake. I'm just-a sayin'.

I like that theory. And now they're also working on a fifth generation, so I can see them moving forward.

I think Hoenn is in need of a remake. It had great music and kind of good Pokemon. Blaziken is my favorite. Also, If nintendo releases a new handheld, we would probably see Hoenn in 3d. The graphics Hoenn had are indeed terrible.

Well, it took me a while... It actually took me three tries to take care of Bugsy. That Scyther and it's U-Turn move were NOT making me happy. But considering my Pokemon were between 11-14, and all that, I guess that's why. I leveled all my Pokemons up to Lv. 16, and did the Spiky-Ear Pichu Event that the Pikachu-Colored Pichu triggers when you have it as your first Pokemon. Kind of neat, and I have my very own Spiky Ear Pichu!

I thought there was a mode in this game where you could battle people and all the levels would even off to 50?

First day that I have barely touched the game. Muk is amazing though, infinitely more useful than Sunflora.
