So, that place there is just a comeback HCP. You know, you complete IW L5, then after completing IW L6, you "come back" to IW L5 to get that HCP. Haven't you noticed such comeback secrets in almost all dungeons so far?
As I told you, you can use wand magic (normal, not wizzrobe masked) on the torches to reveal the safe path through the deep. Continue onward and after an extra floor, you get to the boss.

I'm lost again. I have made it to the Frozen Waste land but I can't remove the ice blocks with the wand. What gives? I finished Nightmare and have wondered around finding different things but now I'm stumped.

Well, you need the wand magic, not the wand itself, to touch the long block of ice. For some people, it disappeared right after inspecting it with lens of truth. Maybe there's also smooth ice that can reflect magic. Just to make sure, the ice you need to melt is in the screen with the subrosian and campfire.

Thank CastChoas, I figured it out w/the lens. But now I used up my magic numerous of times trying to open the chest on t he SW of the dungeon. I see where the bottom-left disappears and I've been able to use the magic to reflect light 5 times continuous but I can't open the chest. Help please. I have the boss key so that can't be the problem, I can't move the blockage.
That chest... you fall from above to open it. Go back the same way where you go the boss key, except from the moving floor room, go directly south. You fall in a hole and end up near the chest.

If you want to continue the main dungeon, itself, use the dungeon item to get many keys and go to the northwest of B1 to start using your keys... up.

Wait! There IS an entrance to Steaming Systems at southwest B1... but how you know it? I don't remember placing any signs of Steaming Systems there and you don't have the item neccessary for it.

The mirror shield is far away. Only shiny wall parts reflect magic. The entrance to SS (Steaming Systems) is at the northeastern region, not at SW (southwest). You don't need to reflect magic at southwest region of B1.

I can see on the map...2 entrance to SS. Also, the lens reveals that I can use the wand to access that area.

Hm, maybe you speak of the FAR southwest of B1, near the moving floors? There the lens doesn't show wand magic, rather wand FIRE. If you get the Wizzrobe mask (will be available later) your magic creates fire upon impact. There are a VERY few places where you need to use this kind of fire to get a secret. I remember just 3 places now.

Also, I did continue and still at Link's house and I did the impossible and saved the game. Now I can't get out of Link's house.

Also, what version you are using, with what operational system?

FYI, I'm using 2.10.0 on Vista Home Premium.
(Also, Knil won't move if you continue from the rainy Kakariko Village.)
