I've got the Master Sword and completed Thieves' Town. So far the dungeons have been really fun and the bosses, while not overly difficult, have all been very enjoyable as well. This also marks only the second 3DS game (the other being Fire Emblem Awakening) that I can play with the 3D on and it doesn't hurt my eyes or cause me to see doublevision. So well done there, Nintendo. I've found 13 HCPs so far and am just trying to decide what to do next. Finally, Lynels SUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

For treasures in SS, yes. Rupees I'm not sure.
SS didn't explain rupees each time you started up. I'm really not sure why they did that in TP.
I could sort of understand the treasures in SS, though it was definitely annoying. The rupees made no sense at all, though.

I'm sad that they didn't even explain what a green rupee was. No explanation at all. ![]()
But yeah, I don't understand what the point of it was. Orange/Silver Rupees I can understand though, since they're rare you might forget how much they're worth.

The TP issue with rupees was a bug in the Wii version, never happens on the GC version. Skyward Sword and the treasures however, that is intentional.
Don't know where you got that from. I have both versions and it happens on them both. I can even verify with videos if you want.

Yeah it did it for rupees if I'm it was the the blue yellow and red rupees it did it too. Along with other collectibles god I found that so annoying I used some cheats to disable it for the sake of not driving me insane.
And note I was using the homebrew app Gecko to add cheats to do this.

Oh? I seriously thought the Gamecube version was unaffected by the bug where it will show Rupee prompts after resuming a save game.Don't know where you got that from. I have both versions and it happens on them both. I can even verify with videos if you want.

Just beat it! I'll probably give myself a while before starting Hero Mode, so I can feel completely recharged. (beep boop)
As much as I'd like to go into details about how much I love this game, I just don't even know where to start right now. I'll probably write my full thoughts on it later. I feel a bit bad about beating it so quickly, but it was just so good D:

Got the game Friday, beat it yesterday. It was honestly way better than I thought it was going to be! It was very similar to ALTTP, which I loved. I'm still trying to get all the Maimais and the red mail (>.>)
Anyone who says this game is too easy, maybe you're just really at them. I died plenty of times in the game. I'm sure plenty of others have too. Can't wait to start Hero Mode after I get it back from my friend. I let him borrow it.

It's a heck of a lot easier than aLttP ![]()
I finished with 2 deaths, whereas I died about 12 times (???) my first playthrough of aLttP GBA.
Speaking of finishing, I feel bad about completing the game so quickly. Then again, I played almost the entire weekend...
Looking forward to trying Hero Mode later! Completing that with no deaths will be a real challenge with quadruple enemy damage...

Game is pretty hard, I died plenty of times, mostly when I forgot to take potions into a dungeon. The hero mode is extreme! Can't even risk a single hit. I died a lot times in the first dungeons. Having to re-rent my items each time is a cool gimmick that didn't really come into action on my 1st playthrough. But it'll be over when I get to buy all the items. If someone should remake this game in ZC, don't forget to double or better yet tribble the purchasing prices for the items. I bet everyone would agree with me on this. If you could just buy item after item super easily, that takes the whole idea of the concept.

This honestly isn't a fair comparison at all. Lots of Zelda fans do this for each game, and it's really just a silly way of comparing difficulty.
If this game is the same difficulty as ALttP, of course you're going to die to it less. You gained experience from playing ALttP and know how to fight better. This is especially true in this case since most of the enemies in ALBW are direct copies of enemies in ALttP. I mean, if you went back and replayed ALttP, would you die 12 times again? I'm not saying ALBW isn't easier than ALttP is (I think it is probably a touch easier, especially when it comes to bosses), but I don't think it's leagues easier.

I just finished the game, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way through. It was very familiar with its overworld design, and even dungeon themes, to an extent, which wasn't a problem with me at all, but I can see why it might disappoint some players who may have wanted something a little bit fresher. I however, am in love with the 3D recreation of the world (occasional "wtf, perspective?" moments aside), and I even tried to make a few of the areas from the original game in 3D myself, a year or so ago, so for me, it is really neat to see it all play out.
The item renting was a cool feature, and works out pretty well. It's definitely something I never thought I'd sere in an official Zelda game, but it worked out great. I find the stamina bar to be a little bit annoying, simply cause it doesn't make sense for some items, and I like having bombs, and arrow as ammo. All in all, it wasn't that big of a deal.

Ah so much fun to be had, and just been exploring around more. And why does it feel like I'm the only not to finish the game?
