Beat the Elite four with little to no issue, and the champion was a major let down... hell even the music was a let down for that lats match.

Hell the elite four had better battle music then the champion, well anyways it was all right but I liked Pokemon Black a lot more then this game.

The game has some flaws that make the 3D useless on the 3DS I mean how did they even let that problem slip by them when the testing came up?

I don't know but Gamefreak pretty much disappointed me with this game engine. I mean there was some of the good points like it being the first true 3D pokemon game, it did deliver on that but other then that the game is pretty much the same as the other games.

Anyways It was alright but felt pretty unpolished... and really lackluster at best.

This game scores a 6/10

Pros-

Gameplay

Its Pokemon

Cons-

Outrageous lag when 3d is enabled

Story was pretty forgettable

Forgettable Characters

Bland gyms

I can see the lag being a valid complaint, and seeing as everything on there is a matter of opinion I can't really say anything.

Though it's odd, considering all the cons you listed, I mostly hear good things on those subjects. Huh.

I actually thought the gyms were quite awesome, though not all that challenging when it came to the battles. Bland characters... not wrong, but not quite a first for the series. Forgettable story, I suppose that's also a matter of opinion. I liked it myself, and honestly I think Team Flare became my favorite organization in the game. Of course that's just how I feel, the only thing that I feel like contesting is the part about the gyms. You really didn't like them?

The gyms just seemed a little bland to me they weren't enjoyable as previous entry's they were all neat looking but too easy to get through. I like having a challenge to get to the gym leader but this game had no challenge at to get to them, the most time I spent in one was 10 minutes. I really miss having solve a interesting puzzle to get to the gym leader like the older games... well I don't really remember how it took with the other games, maybe I have gotten pretty good at these games and it no longer takes a lot of time to get through them like it used to but I felt they was pretty bland.

This world was completely unrealistic, in every way.  I can't name one NPC that actually dislikes the player.  Even the villain of the game respects you.  I would have thought one person in the world didn't like the player...  Just a pet peeve of mine.

P.S. Finally theory-crafted a decent team, only to realize you can't get 2 of them until the PokeBank opens...  Really wanted a Mach Punch Conkledurr and Jellicent...

Ventus: You also used Exp Share the entire game, did you not? That's essentially Easy Mode where everything is pathetic.

Anyhow. I do agree a little bit with it being on the easier side, but it's really no surprise as the games haven't been challenging in ages. I still think Mega Evolution was done horribly and they should've focused on something else instead of that.

In the end I actually put this slightly below Gen 4. Mostly because Gen 4 had a lot more neat things with the touch screen and the Underground. It also felt a little more complete than this Gen has been.

Gen 2 > Gen 1 > Gen 4 > Gen 6 > Gen 3 >? Gen 5

(I haven't actually played a Gen 5 game yet, but will have to, to transfer my pokemon from Diamond. Still nothing in that generation I actually want to train.)

Gen 5 had one of the most comprehensive stories out there, and it really made you want to hate the villain.  It was very well done in comparison with the other pokemon game's stories.  I'd rate it above Gen 4 personally, but otherwise I agree with the above.

Well I had it on until I got to the sixth gym and then I turned it off hoping for some hard action... but it may have been to late for me to turn it off still ended the game around level 80.

I had it on until after the first gym and turned it off. My team was mid-to-late 60s against the E4. So you got around an extra 10-15 levels due to Exp Share then. One plus is you can turn it off. PMD3 had this feature but you could not turn it off and really ruined parts of the game.

Anyhow, still looking for someone with a Friend Safari with Eevee in it. Why I need it? I'd like to get some Female Anticipation Eevees in different Pokeballs. Believe it or not, some people won't accept a trade if the pokemon isn't in a specific Pokeball. Female pokemon pass down the Pokeball they were caught in to the offspring while breeding.

I also have Scatterbug galore again if anyone wants to try their luck with getting new Vivillon patterns. Why people are more willing to trade Scatterbugs on the GTS over other junk pokemon like Weedle, Pidgey, etc. is still beyond me. Scatterbug trades take about a few minutes to go through and the others can be a few minutes to half an hour. I hope the Eevees I'm flooding the GTS with get some use still. Most of them have somewhat decent IVs even.

Really? Through a bit of the game, most of the trainers, wild Pokemon, and Gym Trainer's levels kept up with my team throughout the game, with the exception of the Elite 4, which I can agree, were pretty pathetic.

Well I'm starting on breeding and see if I slam together a decent team. Still don't know if the super training does anything I haven't really noticed it doing anything.

Super Training increases EVs without having to level the Pokemon up.

This took me faaaaaaar too long, but I finally got my first shiny ever. (Not counting red Gyrados, but that doesn't really count to me) Many can attest that I was extremely happy to hatch this. :D On a side note, if anyone wants an Eevee of a specific nature, chances are I've got one. Let me know. :3 (I'm also up for battling! :D)

Also, been working with Russ to complete the regional dex. Should be fun. :D

Yeah, some of the crap you have to do to fil this dex... Dan and I traded the same freaking Pokemon back and forth 4 times to fill one of the entries. >_<

And yes, Dan is completely insane. His entire PC system is nearly full of the Eevees he hatched trying to get that one. But congrats!
