As for the mountains, the 3rd Mountain Set (Oracle of Seasons) would suit best for this setting, as it matches the trees perfectly and makes it very GB-like. As for the water, you can use the already existing water boundary tiles, but re-colour them to the grass. Or you could do this:

I'm aware that they don't use the same tiles and the colours are different, but the style I'm talking about is basically what's above.

Also, one more thing about those water tiles. It would be best if you change them to these:

These look more like proper water tiles. The one you are using right now suit more for shallow water (even though they are set to water combos, it honestly shouldn't be)

Thanks for the critique everyone. :)

This is a different take on the screen. All I changed right now is the palette and the water. The palette is now Tarm Ruins (summer).
I'm not seeing any good tiles for the transition to the water though. What do you recommend to do? And also, am I using the wrong mountain tiles? Because the mountain rails are like that in every palette.

And Shane thanks a lot for the offer, but for now I'll do fine. :) I'm just experimentating with the tileset.

I'm loving this screen. The only thing I'd recommend is flowers or more grass details for the middle part, and borders for the water. :)

I've never seen some of These tiles before, for example the fences. But I like them and it Looks really interesting. Maybe you should also try 1 tile wide Combos for them though, since I think that fits the tileset better. As for the snow and everything else, it looks great!

Here's a new GB Screen. Let me know what you think and if there's something you would do differently:

I love it myself, but I'm especially unsure about the ground detailing. :)

Edit: On a different note, I actually find the water in the GB tileset extremely annoying to use. Not in the Screen above, but generally speaking. I don't know how exactly to work around it (take my previous GB Screen for example), as I always have to have borders around the water. I can't place trees or similiar objects right next to water. :/ I'm thinking about importing water tiles from a different tileset.

Now THIS is really good! I love the scenery and how everything looks as it all comes together very nicely. Very well done.

interesting, Shane.  are the colors indicative of walkability, with some solid and others hurting?  I assume this is yet another joke quest.

Avataro, that's a very nice screen, but it still suffers from those discolored corners.  they are most evident in the water on the right, with a weird red corner in there and a slightly less weird green tip sticking into the water.  those are incredibly distracting.  maybe those could be layered over some water and you could color those corners transparently.  anyway, nice stuff, generally.

Really loving what I am seeing so far! My only suggestion would be add icicles like seen in the Minish Cap! That would be a great addition to the dungeon and Firebird in general. :)

Looks really cool! Reminds me of those passageways in Level 2 of Seasons with the Thwimps on the ceilings.

There is a secret on this screen... can you find it?
Also what do you think?
Do you like it?
What should be changed?
