So what you're saying is, Greninja could have been the most hated new Pokémon in X and Y, and they still would have used him? Sounds like quite the risk.

I'll be perfectly honest, I thought Greninja was pretty meh long before he was announced in Smash. The intentional trolling of Mewtwo fans is what's making me feel even less compelled to like him.

I didn't really like any of the new starters to be honest. I thought I was going to like Fennekin at first, but then the final evo told me I shouldn't. However, Greninja not a bad choice for a Smash game. He's the only in-your-face fighter of the 3 new starters.

As a fan of the Skyloft outfit, they're making me want to use Link more often, now. This look seems like it could be used in a Zelda title, like being given the outfit in a sort of "This is what we think the chosen hero dressed in..." manner.
