I finished the game...

 

First of all, here's an update to the cross trap script to fix that pushblock thing –apologies for sitting on it this long.  There are a few other changes:

1.  The spikes use the game engine for collision detection and damage now.  The default damage is 8 hearts and you can change it by setting it in ZQuest.  The reasons for this change are because the old version didn’t play well with the spin attack charge, I didn’t know I could do it this way before, and it’s a whole lot simpler.
2. The spikes now have their own cset instead of sharing it with the floor tile.  I commented a line so you can change them all in one place if needed. 
3. The ffc script called “Reset” and the global variables called “Hit”, “SPIKE_DAMAGE”, and “SPIKE_SENSITIVITY” are no longer needed so please remove them (or not if you don’t want to break any saves...).  The functions called “Ouch” and “Detect_Hit” may also be removed.

In the room with the master sword, I walked to the Link statue and then left without picking up the item.

 

The portals on the top can't be reached.

 

These arrow tiles are unwalkable.

 

Don't F6 in this room or you might get stuck in the door.

Huh, that's an odd place to use the ladder.

 

I just noticed that Link doesn't display the correct shield when charging spin attack.

 

That doesn't look like any rupee I've ever seen.

 

Push a block over the W switch to open the door?  That's weird.  I don't remember the last version of the quest having a direction switch in here.

 

Enemy placement.

 

Went though some locked doors the wrong way.

 

Bushes without slash effects.  Actually I think this includes most of the areas after level 5

I hope I can do something with this soon. Terraria 1.3 is just around the corner, and it's roughly the equivalent of me leaving to go backpack around Europe for a month.

 Did you ever figure out why I could only go up to 8 bombs only??  Playing the latest download you put on the first page however, 

After pushing the stone with the second glove in Pulcheria and going into cave for bomb upgrade I realized it was only giving Arrow upgrades and not bombs, gee I can hold 80 arrows now.

This sounds like a BUG

Mystery, you are aware that this quest only lets you carry 4 bombs at the start right?  Are you sure that you've picked up more than one bomb upgrade?  I just played the latest version of this game with ZC 2.50 and finished with 110 arrows and 30ish bombs, just wish I could remember where the bomb upgrades were   ...but the place you mentioned was quiver upgrade for me too.

Have been to at least 3 or 4 bomb upgrade places and only have got arrows, interesting.

Ok have another problem. Need help\In the Excavation there is a place where you face the Mirror wizrobes, nothing else would kill them but a reflection, however bought the mirror from a cave

and it reflects back at them at a 45 degree angle, How are you supposed to kill them to get the door open?

A while back, I asked to locate that mirror shield a little closer , I means out of marathon, so I can get the master sword from subrosia

for magic sword you need to go to lost hill and tell the midget in there and then you'll be able to go in the water and get it,, for master sword you don't need that,, just kill those  stinky genies and pull it from the floor on the pedestal! ----- that mirror shield...Man!

I got the blue boomer on the excavations last time, and think that's the best one (no fire boomer in here) -- only way to stunt those Ginni's  is by using mirror shield located on marathon ,so to get the last sword in subrosia ,, the one stick in the pedestal ... need mirror shield!!

It's been a while since I played this quest, and my goodness, there have been a lot of changes in this quest! I'm retracing my steps from the beginning. I cleared the first Nightmare, got seven heart containers and now trying to get the second nightmare over with.

 

I definitely have the odds in my favour with the Nightmare Buster, and I know how to save the Princess from the crystal mines. I also picked up the Amulet so I don't have to backtrack, and have 60 arrows and one bomb upgrade. It seems everything three years ago that was a bomb upgrade is now an arrow upgrade. Time flies, I guess?
