Anyway, I actually really like that shot with all the trees. I dunno why...but it really gives the feeling of being deserted. I could see some good ideas coming from an area implemented like this.

Thanks :3 How many trees do you suppose I need to add, and where? I don't really see why it needs more trees to be honest, I've always thought that too many trees is a bad thing
Also:

It's a joke! It's funny!
I think it's an incredible screen shot. One thing it needs is more trees, some open corners and more useless clutter. Also, I would change the colors to a more neon green. Maybe some clouds will make it better. Everybody thinks clouds make everything better. Ooooh and water too. Lots o' useless water. You know what? Why don't you just make the whole thing float in the sky? That'll make it elite.
It's a joke! It's funny!

Looks functional, but there's some things I'd change design-wise with the walls. I'd make the wall on the far left curvier; perhaps you should make it jut out at the bottom. I would also connect the walls at the top; I try to never have two sets of walls rub against eachother. You might have to do some pretty basic edits to get it to work, but it shouldn't take very long. The alternative is to place a small pit between them, which I prefer since it helps to give an open feeling to it. The last thing is to add more detail to them; LttP was pretty good with this, so you could use those as reference.

Link to Image
This map is the starting area of the game. It is the cemetery for the people of who inhabited the colony of Oblitus. In the center of the area is the area where Link's house, and Link, were dropped after being picked up by a great storm, hence the debris.

This image I have already shared but received only one comment on, so I hope it is appropriate to re-post it. It is a shot of an area that used to be the site of a great temple (or fortress, it is undecided), but has been overgrown and since has fallen apart.

The cave of the undead captain who lead the expedition. You acquire the sword from him, but only at a price.
Apologies for the shots taken in ZQuest, in the future I will give you shots from in game, but the DMaps and warps have not been set up fully yet.
Comments, criticism, and any helpful pointers would be extremely appreciated! Thank you for your time.
Edit:

Robin, this looks amazing. Honestly this is one of the best gameboy shots I've seen so far! Really hope you make this a game.
P.S. I am guessing those are some custom tiles?

The only things I would change are the bright colors in the second screen. They kind of destroy the darkness, with the undead captain.

I think it's a good time to release a small tidbit of my quest.
Well, here you go.

PS - The sword on the bottom right is completely custom made, by me!

I like the bright colors on the cave, HK. Gives a feeling of fanciness to the treasures

It's a really good screenshot. The only thing I can see that needs improving is the brightness of the screen. It could be my laptop's screen but the shadowy areas are quite hard to see. Other than that, it is brilliant. Cool blood effect too. It really reminds me of the well and shadow temple in Ocarina of Time.
