Why would that stand out? It's the greatest Zelda game ever.

C'mon, I can't be the only one who thought "A Zelda classic" stood out in that article. icon_deformed.gif
What's the name of the site? "PureZC." What does "PureZC" stand for? "Pure Zelda Classic." I don't even use ZC anymore and it was still obvious to me...

Also, A Link to the Past is the greatest Zelda game ever. icon_blah.gif

... anyways, yeah. Game looks cool, love the updated textures, blah blah etc. Hope it plays well as well, though I'll be avoiding those hint movies like the plague. ... okay so I might peek at one just to see what they're like, but that's it. I'm weird like that. icon_heh.gif

In your opinion, Link to the past is. I mean, I used to think what makes OoT so good? But after one time I got through it 100%, I fell deeply in love with this game. But, I love all Zelda games so, all of them are the best! icon_biggrin.gif

Care to tell me? It certainly not its in-depth overworld, outstanding dungeon design, or boss battles. Really, no matter what aspect of the game I look at, I can find a Zelda game that does it much better. Guess that's just what I get for lacking my nostalgia glasses.

I'm hoping the super guide will allow for trickier puzzles, since they won't have to arbitrarily lower the difficulty to appeal to a larger crowd. I know the "trickier" part won't occur till SS (which is rumored to be delayed, by the way! *gasp* ), but I still hope it's the case.

@ Russ
Well, for me, it was just a feeling of satisfaction and wonder and (perfect amount of) frustration. I actually died on some of the bosses on my first run through, which is nearly enough to put it in front of the rest of the Zelda games in my list... but Twilight Princess still holds a special place on top. I love it.

Anyone else extremely turned on by that sexy title screen?!

I'm a huge fan of that title screen in a totally normal way! icon_heh.gif

So, it's only his opinion that ALttP is the best, but OoT is the best based on fact? Wow.

Also, I have to say that it at least does look rather nice, particularly that Market screenshot. For a second, I thought they were actually going to add a new area from a quick glance. Oh well.

WTF?! I never ever said that at all. You can't just say things I never said. It makes you completely wrong in every way.
I didn't exactly say it, but I said that in my opinion, OoT is the greatest of all time. I don't have to say, "In my opinion" every time.

Relax, I'm just nitpicking, particularly because you said that OoT was the best Zelda ever, and then when TS says LttP is, you butt in and tell him that that's his opinion. I just enjoy messing with things like that.

But regardless of all that, my curiosity has been somewhat emerging, although the whole Master Quest thing seems retarded, I mean, if you reverse nothing... you still get nothing. Just talking about overworlds here. Of course, there's still 2 more months to see what exactly is getting added.

I hope the games dungeons arn't exactly the same, like harder puzzles. Because knowing me, i'll get through it in two to three days. I can get through the whole game in a day if I wanted to icon_razz.gif

I didn't even realise they added light refractions when swimming under water as well as dynamic shadows (Yeah the game did have some dynamic shadows to start with but now it has a lot more!)

Pre-ordered as soon as the game got dated. I can't freaking wait, it's going to be my first time playing OoT.
