Then enter it, but don't step on the switch, just go south. When you appear in the forest again, hookshot to the north, go north, be compassionate; and don't forget going right from fake Necrolodge to open a shortcut in case the boss cuts you in half! (It's a faulty machine.)

This level is insane! Not ever in my life i saw such a dungeon... im as stuck as it can be... not a single key... no wand... and i grabbed the compass... THAT WAS EVIL...
Where must i go to? To the screen with the Source of the Flow boss? Inspect the room VERY carefully...
I just found that one of the walls is attachable to the hookshot... but nothing else...

So, you just arrived? Then you need 2 keys. One is at the southwest in a small building, other is in the middle, under tall grass. Keep in mind:
1. This is a nightmare, meant to be bad and frustrating.
2. The main underground area is all the way west from entrance, then south into the building.
3. This is a nightmare, meant to be bad and frustrating.
4. You should buy the hints of Pregnant_Cow, who is just north of the entrance.

Thanks CastChoas. I must be hitting his iris and he's really pissed at me because I'm not killing him by pushing that left-top mirror down even with the other mirror. I've been standing to the left of him shooting mirror because that the only way that I can get the mirror to reflect the beams back to his feet.

I have to say this is a great adventurous quest and needs a lot of patience.

Since the nightmare isn't revisitable (Gross!), its subdungeon is outside of it. Walk around Kakarpolis and bear in mind that you can enter people's dreams with Twin Dream.
L3 sword is at the northwest part of the main overworld. There are shiny rocks that reflect magic. Try some, maybe the reflected magic turns something into an one-way entrance (some call it: hole).

Hm, there's another mirror, I recall now? The mirror closer to him must be pushed out of the way, then you stand north of the farther mirror (when it's in the same row as the boss legs) and shoot the magic down to the mirror. With the other mirror not being in the way, the magic reaches the boss. Only reflected magic works.

I finally got out of Nightmare. Thank you CastChoas. What a nightmare.

I found the fairy cave and received the 4th sword. I'm confused...is this the L3 or L4 sword?

That's the L3 sword. If you found the L4 sword in the fairy cave... well, that would have been a very serious bug. But why are you confused, what made you think that it could be the L4 sword? O_O

If you found many keys and boss key and dungeon item, go back to B1 and go northwest. There you can take a curve in the direction of south and go through many lock blocks. Finally you get near the left entrance. From then on you can use the left entrance to enter the dungeon, it will be faster. Then as you go on, you get out at a higher point and enter a new floor, F2. It's like Desert Palace in ALttP! (I mean the floor concept.)

Oh, sctmorgan, seems like you never played MC (The Legend of Zelda: the Minish Cap) or even heard about it. The "Four Sword" is the name of the sword, it doesn't mean "4th sword"... It's called "Four Sword" because it has four elements in it and in MC and FS/A, you can make 4 of yourself with it. I also planned making such secrets where you slash something with it and then it gets 3 copies... but I forgot to do that. So you got L3 sword.
