That screen looks very good, Jared! Everything looks really well done. The only critique that I could give is exactly what DragonDePlatino gave, so I have nothing more to add. ![]()

If you don't mind me asking, how's the planning of the actual quest going? Any plans on the overall scope? I'm excited to see something from you, and I'd hate to see it go the way of Roc's Remembrance or Relics of the Past.

A forgotten past...
I know I posted already, but I just wanted to say something with this shot (in which I missed seeing yesterday). In short, this shot is fucking awesome.
I've seen many good screenshots from you and everyone else. But this is Screenshot of the Year material to me, even if no one else agrees entirely. It might not be the most unique scenery, but the way it's designed -- the colours, the mountains, the tile choices, etc... It's just overall perfection. You nailed the mountains especially. It gives the screen a sense of realism, depth and good aesthetics. It's how I want to use the GBZ mountains for my quests.
Honestly? Don't change anything with the design. It's perfect.

I gotta say, I really like the way the screens look. Simply, and yet effective. Better than... well honestly, better than most of the stuff I've seen from you Jared. You've got some really nice improvement going on here, and your screens were already good to begin with.

Thank you for the critique! It makes me feel good to hear I'm doing better.
Planning of the quest is a little on hold for now, because of a special reason. I'll probably say why later. It's still in the very, very early stages of development. ![]()

Yeah, the palette is supposed to be for Kakariko Village. The screen isn't from Kakariko Village (or anywhere in the quest for that matter) as it is just a practice shot I made out of boredom, and figured it was due to post something in here again. For the record, I updated the palette.

Might want to add some ground detail to the sand, to make it less bare. Other than that, good screen!

Woah, I'm really liking the color variety that you incorporated. Makes the shot look really pretty. I do agree with MoscowModder, though: If you can add a bit of details to the sand itself, then it will help the screen be even better than it already is.
