Hmm ...  I wonder which character you would play in the upcoming Smash games, Charizard ... ;)

I won't tell! Never!

(Link, Toon Link, Yoshi and yes, Charizard lol.)

I dunno if anyone of you has heard of the players Isai or Mew2King, but they're good with almost any character, regardless of a "tier list".  I suppose that's what makes me respect them more as players, is that they don't hark to the only good characters.

When I pick a smash character, I use them when they're comfortable to use. For example, in Smash 64, I can utilize Fox's moveset to the fullest, because to me, his speed and strength blend perfectly with my playstyle, not because he's high tier.

In Melee, I main Falco, simply because his playstyle is VERY similar to Smash 64's version of Fox, as such, he is in my comfort zone to use as I see fit. Jigglypuff, I find incredibly fun to use in Melee. His playstyle, at least to me, of being floaty and able to combo people easily because of his, plus his massive power, makes him a force to be reckoned with whenever I use him. Don't even get me started on the Ice Climbers. A ton of people think they're only good with Chain Grabbing, which from my experience, simply isn't true. I've basically commited myself to being really good with the Climbers without chain grabbing, and it's been going smoothly.

For brawl, same deal with the Ice Climbers, they're really high tier due to their chain grabbing potential, next main. NOW THEN, Mr. Game & Watch is just a masterpiece of a character to me, he just feels perfectly natural to use, he's fast, powerful, and he can recover really well, as such, I enjoy using him quite a bit. Toon Link lacks explanation, I just love to use him. Same deal with Jigglypuff, people find him terrible, but I never really saw much of a difference between him and his Melee counterpart, other than being weaker, which just means more comboing, which is the funnest part of using Jigglypuff anyways.

One example of a really high tier character that I am just horrible with is Olimar. I cannot figure out how he's suppose to be used. :P

Agreed. I could never master the "Strategy" characters, like Ice Climbers, Olimar and his Pikmin, and Snake for his arsenal. I tend to stick with reflex-heavy characters like Fox, Samus, Marth, Cap'n Falcon (Mostly in Melee.) and Jigglypuff. My Melee game used to be 150% faster than it is after years of lack of practice. When a third of how you move is a wavedash, you tend to scare potential newcomers to the series away. But you just can't stop. It feels really empowering to know that you've mastered a game's engine to the point where a glitch is your new method of locomotion and an excellent defense and advantage.

In a way, I'm sad that such a thing is no longer possible in Brawl and the new one. But it will live on in my heart.

Random thought: An Inkling from Splatoon should be in the game. Probably not as a fighter, but maybe an Assist Trophy. It could splatter goo everywhere and it would probably work similar to the blooper in Mario Kart or something, I dunno. I just think it would help to build up some hype for Splatoon.

Sadly I bet all splatoon will get is a trophy. :/ That would be really cool though! I bet the Inklings would be great characters on their own. I can imagine it now:

Even a trophy would be cool. I highly doubt we'd see a fighter, just because the game is unreleased and that could lead to some inaccuracies with the final version, which might end up leading to a big redesign in a future Smash should one return. Maybe I'm overthinking that. But also one thing would be that incorporating goo-related attacks would almost have to have some kind of goo effect just for effect, and it would likely be too late in development to incorporate any sort of special goo physics. Unless they decided to do this in secret long before Splatoon was revealed. I dunno. I also kind of doubt we'd see a fighter because it would likely just be seen as pandering or a living advertisement or something. Maybe I'm rambling with no idea what I'm talking about, but I'd at best expect an assist trophy, though just a regular trophy wouldn't surprise me.

Not too thrilled with the whole Pacman thing. I mean, whatever, but I think it's a little silly.

Still holding out for at least some sort of nod to the Tales of series. :')

Have Mii Fighters been confirmed for the 3DS version?  I have only seen footage of the Wii U version.

The official website has screenshots of them on the 3DS.

Plus, it's been confirmed that no version will have unique fighters, so I doubt they'd announce Mii fighters for Wii U and not put them on 3DS. Much of the focus just has been on the Wii U version, and rightly so: Nintendo needs to count on this to sell systems.

Plus, it's just better advertising because they look waaaay better on the Wii U.  That's why they usually do 8 screenshots of the Wii U's version, and 2 screenshots of the 3DS's version.

Fair enough.  I just haven't seen any screenshots of the Mii Fighters on the 3DS version, so I was having doubts.
